Morning everyone, hope it's a good'n whatever the weather.

Could I ask the opinions of my fellow potters? The contents of my previous year Sealed Pot can be categorised into the following

Hi Decluttering, well you've got peaceandfreedom's take on what to do with your cash, so either bank it or stick it back in the pot - just please, for your sake, don't leave it hanging around and then have it fritter away without you even realising it. Certainly that's true with the notes....bank it or pot it..before it goes! You've done brilliantly this year - keep at it.

Very well done with both the number and certainly the savings, allybee101, a very good start. Pot sounds perfect too.

Very good, Kerfuffle, but do please stick with us this time as we love to see you! ;)

ooooh I do love the sound of those pots, TheBees, talk about being precise..well done! :grinheart

I hope you all have a lovely day too, skilly and a splendid start with potting!

Well done with the Terramundi, recurrent-ostrich!! :j No idea whether the price is good or bad these days as I bought mine about 3 years ago. Lovely of your in-laws!

Well I counted all my change yesterday, this was change that I had been throwing into my bedside drawer over the last couple of weeks. So I am going to cheat a little and use it to start me off.

No way is that cheating, ETO, that's the sort of thing we should all be doing. :D A superb amount and terrific start!!!

oooh I just love that; Ive a great image now of you scrabbling about on the floor..saying to a little old lady "mind your blooming feet missus!!!" :rotfl:
Keep on saving and keep safe and well, folks! See you later.

Had a mouch around the charity shops yesterday and found a massssssive bag of sequins and beads for my crafting for a £1, handed over a £10 and got, yep you've guessed it, 3 x £2 (for my owl pot) and 3 x £1. went into ald* for a couple of bits and came out with a couple of 20ps and a 50p for my cat pot. Not bad for the first day.

OH came home from visiting his sis and I asked him for a divvi up and he put a couple of 50ps and some 20ps in the cat too. Good grief and he didnt moan!

So we're off too. I was thinking what I wanted to do with the money and as my fridgefreezer is about 16 years old and I need a bigger one, I think I will save towards one of them there american type fridge/freezers. :D:D:D

    Afternoon Everybody

Now I have a problem. Last night DH had 2 pints:eek: So was a little tipsy!! He doesn't drink usually so 2 pints is a lot for him :rotfl::rotfl:

Well when he went to bed there on his chair was all the change out of his pocket about £4 of course I moved it to my table with my knitting on, Now the thing is he hasn't missed it. Would it be really wrong to put it in my pot ? after all he will benefit from it.
