Sealed Pot Challenge #1666 - up for raising as much as poss0 -
Hi, I've only joined the forums just to take part in this! I read them quite a lot though. I've read all the rules so please may I join too?
I've just made my pot out of a nescafe jar and 3 layers of gaffa tape so it'll be a challenge to get into and I can't be tempted to peak lol. I've just put in £1.40 and OH put in 90p but I'm not going to count and let it be a surprise. In November/December I have to pay off my wedding dress so it'll either go towards that, or if I've saved enough for that, other things for our wedding
I'm going to put it in my signature as soon as I get a number, or work out how to do a signature!Saving for our wedding July 2013!0 -
Hi all, I haven't been potting lately as I've been very good and not spending. However, my DD's dog found 5p for me today when I took her walkies. This is the second time she's found roadkill for me, the last time was a 20p. I'm just glad she relieves herself near the coins and not on top of them. :rotfl::rotfl:
Welcome to all the newbies, you'll enjoy being part of this thread. There are loads of lovely people on here. :A:A:AS.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

Hi Sue
I have registered to join SPC although spent £3.89 on Amazon on the sealed tin! Hopefully by time that arrives I will have an allocated number. My target is a realistic £100 knowing I'll probably only put in coins less than £1!
Thanks

To answer your question, mumwithamission, yes it'll be ok to include payouts from Quidco, you're not the first, so fine!
That was good of your DS, DorsetGirl, still for him too in the long run, I'll bet.
Thanks a lot, mumof3plusoh, it all began with me simply thanking him (Martin) on behalf of us all, then he replied with "Wooohaay..I'll try and add you to the newsletter"!!! I was so surprised, but very happy for ALL!! :grinheartsparky0107 wrote:Sue
What have you done Hun, I'm going to need another sheet on the spreadsheet if we get any more people joining! Seriously though, well done on getting the SPC challenge recognised in the email. Hopefully we can have many more members joining us and saving money.
Good on ya kid X
Thanks for that, sparky, it means a lot coming from you. I never thought it would lead to this, maybe Martin did though, who knows! I reckon you'll definitely need another sheet on the spreadsheet, worthwhile though eh! We'll still be adding declarations next July (2013) a this rate!! :rotfl:
You counting down already, jakes-mum?! Even one of my little DGKs started that earlier today!!:rotfl:
This was all Martin's doing, moomi, not mine, pretty good though!!!zafiro1984 wrote:I used araldite on a Quality Street tin bought for Christmas sweeties, works really well.

Back at work today which was actually quite good fun - apart from the whole having to work thing. On the upside I came home with a fairly large collection of silver coins for the work tin as I found them out on the patio when I was cleaning up at the end of the night - all in the same place so I guess dropped out of someones pockets when they sat down for a ciggy. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
