Hi, can I join please?
Can believe Ive not come across this topic before. I got my 2year old one of those metal tins for christmas as a stocking filler and she loves putting coins in and using it as a rattle lol.
Id like to aim for £300 for christmas for me and Ill even include my dd and give her a target of £30 so she can save for a toy she really wants(she has all my coins of 20p and under)

Hi Sue, can I please join? I've been reading posts and think this is a fab idea. My plan is to deposit coppers and low silvers into pot. I often have loads of loose change that fall out of my purse and into my handbag. Now I can take great pleasure in putting them in a pot at the end of everyday. I've absolutely no idea what I can save using just loose change but it's going to be quite exciting doing the count up in November. I normally feel guilty if I treat myself over christmas but I would like to think I can indulge myself next year.MFW 2013 #146 Target £6000

The thanks button is a "Cheers mate that's helpful" kinda thing. I use it to keep up with the thread, the last post I've read doesn't give me the option to press the Thanks button but the next post does, iyswimHTH

Hi Sue
I have registered to join SPC although spent £3.89 on Amazon on the sealed tin! Hopefully by time that arrives I will have an allocated number. My target is a realistic £100 knowing I'll probably only put in coins less than £1!
Thanks
