"Sealed Pot Challenge 5"

Hello
Please may I join this year - I already put all my loose change in a pot so may as well save it up and total at the end of Nov with you all. Last year I had £43 saved up from this. I am also going to add extras as I go along - casting my eye over a few of your posts gave me an idea. I bought a new kitchen bin in Asda today - it was labelled as £15 but I was charged £18 on the self service checkout. I stopped at Customer Services to let them know the price was wrong and they gave me the difference back even though I didn't ask for it.I thought I could add that £3 to the SPC - does that count? I have read the guidelines but want to be sure I am playing fair.
I also have a QVC beauty habit so thought that I could add £5 to the SPC for every TSV/OTO I manage to resist to help my no buying unnecessary toiletries challenge!
Thanks - look forward to receiving my SPC challenge no and seeing how much I can accrue - hopefully at least £100.0 -
Loving putting my pennies and pounds in my piggy! Decided to fill the nice big pig first then work on the terramundi when i am a bit more flush!Mortgage free wannabe! No idea on date yet! £132,350 TBC

oooh Lookingtothefuture, I've heard of some excuses in my time but never being seduced by wrapping paper!!! Was it worth it?:eek::eek::eek: I feel cheated now! I paid 60p a roll in tesco on 3 for 2 so my 3 rolls worked out at 40p eachnot happy I hate being out bargain hunted :rotfl:
I hope so Sue! Just hope four rolls will be enough, as she is so young the presents are still large. Had to rush out last minute last year as had run out of paper! The four rolls should have been / were £1.50 a roll before Christmas so it was 75% off. The rolls are 5m each jakes-mum, so maybe they are smaller than yours, or yours could have been more expensive to start with...? Hope that makes you feel better :rotfl:
Either way better than having to pay £2.50 per roll later on in the year hey! But tomorrow, I will leave my purse at home and be a good girlThermomix Santander Sainsburys Creation Loans Fluid Card Tax Credit OP

Hi Sue, please add me to the list! I've just joined MSE specifically to join this challenge.
I've got a lovely terramundi that I stick all my £2s in; when it's full I am going to treat myself to getting all of my current tattoos fixed/touched up/covered as well as a new one, hurrah. It'll probably take a few years but that's fine by me cos I want to work on my body anyway :j
So for this challenge, I've got a seperate pink piggy bank. I stick everything under 50p in there and just emptied it a few weeks ago, so it's ready to go, in the spirit of money saving i'm going to stick everything under a pound in there this time (keeping pound coins for in my purse! I'm a skint student after all...) :rotfl:
Here we gooooooo!
2014: My hardest financial times ever as I complete my degree, and begin a Masters in September. I can do this!
