"Sealed Pot Challenge 5"

Evening all,
Have been neglecting the pot lately so have just dumped the contents of my purse in there to the tune of £4.77. Problem is I have to put it where the kids can't get their grubby little mits on it, but this then means I cant see it, so forget about it! Must try harder!!!Sealed pot #15260 -
Yeehaaa
Just found £3 whilst sorting out a cluttered corner. Into the pot!
Sorry not keeping up with the thread - work is manic and you lot are SO chatty.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
I've thought carefully about my sealed pot strategy and have come up with this: £2s to the £2 challenge, £1s and 50p's stay in my purse and anything less goes into the sealed pot. I've decided to use an empty Celebrations tub as my pot - fitting, as hopefully they'll be something to celebrate at the end!0

I've got a lovely terramundi that I stick all my £2s in; when it's full I am going to treat myself to getting all of my current tattoos fixed/touched up/covered as well as a new one, hurrah. It'll probably take a few years but that's fine by me cos I want to work on my body anyway :j
So for this challenge, I've got a seperate pink piggy bank. I stick everything under 50p in there and just emptied it a few weeks ago, so it's ready to go, in the spirit of money saving i'm going to stick everything under a pound in there this time (keeping pound coins for in my purse! I'm a skint student after all...) :rotfl:
Here we gooooooo!Hi Sue,
Please join me up too. £300 target to fund Christmas. Looking forward to searching out the roadkill!
Have some change, just need to find myself a pot now.
ThanksSomehow this has passed me by for the last few years but really wanna sign up to save £250 for my Christmas presents this year as I'm suffering this month big time! Please give me a number!

Sparky, since you seem to be very knowledgeable.... can you quickly tell me what the 'thanks' button is used for? Sounds daft, but I mean is it used as a 'cheers mate that's helpful'... or like 'read this!' kind of acknowldgement... iyswim?? Ta!! xx2014: My hardest financial times ever as I complete my degree, and begin a Masters in September. I can do this!
