Morning everyone
My usual £2 going into the pot this morning. Plus 10p tea room floor change going into the road change pot, this is a seperate pot I have for any change found, this is opened on the 31st March & pays for my scooter MoT, tax & any left goes towards a tank of petrol, I've done this for the last 3 years and money other people throw away pays towards my hobbySparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. A very warm welcome, lilrahi, Buckey and Plemo, it's lovely to have you with us.
Enjoy yourself saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 4 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it helps so very much.
Plemo, the sweep with your bank sounds ok to me, though I'm not completely sure what you mean. If you could be a bit more explicit it'll help, but for now I'll say a conditional yes.
Maz and mumwithamission, whatever works for you, why should others think you're crazy? Stand up for your rights, girls, we all need to no matter what it's about!

Morning Simonicky, you don't need to put your name on the list, I do that. What you need to do is put your No on the your signature so it then shows up in the lower part of all the posts you make (see mine at the bottom of this post) to put your No on your signature, go to "User CP" (above left on the bar), then click "Edit Signature" and pop your SPC No on! From there on save as much as you're able and be happy!
Maz, it's a pleasure! In many ways though, you all help each other which is wonderful.
Morning sparky and well done! If I didn't know you better, I'd say you revelled in saving other folk's cash!!!
Have a really lovely day folks, BUT be very careful in that terrible wind!!!

mumwithamission wrote: »Hi there - Quidco is a cashback website (there are other too - Topcashback for one) check them out. If you make your online purchases, or even reservations through them (if your chosen retailer is registered with them) you get cashback, at varying rates from your purchase. This takes variable times. Main MSE site will explain it all. I love the sites - I've 'earnt' over £1200 in the past 3 years through Quidco. Don't be tempted to buy through them unless it's the best deal though - still shop around! Good luck.
And I'm wondering if I can put my earnings into the sealed pot challenge too...?
Thank you for that! I have been seeing it come up a lot of threads and just like the not knowing what DH and DS and DD and all that means I didn't want to look silly by asking. I need to learn all this. Trying to think of some other ways to make money....:j
I have had a couple of NSD so nothing in the pot...but selling my old fridge and walderobe tonight that I don't want so can save that money; well some of it owe Mummy money from last week.....

Yeah the boards were running quite slow last night, I assumed it was because lots of people like me are using the new year as a reason to get their finances in order....!2014: My hardest financial times ever as I complete my degree, and begin a Masters in September. I can do this!
