A nice shiny 50p plonked in the pot this morning. These high winds are driving me nuts as I can hear wind whistling down the chimney at night and it keeps me awake!! The in laws had a tree fall in their garden that totally wrecked the wall.
I am not one for wishing time away, but will be welcoming lighter nights and warmer (ok......only by a couple of degrees!) weather!!0 -

Sorry BlueCow, we clashed so good job you didn't have horns! . Your poor In-laws, still better than the house for certain!
Is there nothing you can do to stop the whistling ie opening the door or shutting it?? I must confess to loving the wild elements, but always think (have a prayer) for those who have to be out in it. That whistling would drive me mad...turn the house round to avoid it!I know, shut up!

Do we keep our last numbers even though it's now challange 5?
Last year I managed to get about £300 by August and it paid for the family to have a week break away together.
This year we have a baby due about the same time so a similar sum would certainly help!
I will be reusing my papier mache piggie I maid last year as I only had to "elongate" the opening a little to raid it, repairable I sould easily thinkSealed pot challange no: 3390 -

have changed my total from £500 to £1000 as off to New York for a Hen Weekend sometime later in the year....a good incentive as I am NOT being left behind!
All was going well, lots of odds and ends going in, now hit a dry spell, but never fear...I will be potting again soon!

Just thought I would say Happy New Year to everyone. I have not put very much in our tin as we are going to London for a few days this month. I don't count what I put in as it spoils the moment for me. Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Year and are not feeling as fat as I am. I joined Weight Watchers today again!!!!! but this will be my year. I will lose 30 lbs but save loads of pounds.Sealed Pot Challenge 1441
