Possible scam

All seems very odd, i listed the items for £90 each and he was emailing me very quickly offering £500 each. I have taken them off now and will prepare the new listing with 4 but will email him about payment and postage. How easy would it be for him to bank transfer from China?0

You can't send them RM as there isn't a signed overseas service. You decide how they go.
If it were me I'd take them to a B&M auction house.
Is James a common Chinese name?
It seems a bit suspicious to me & that's a hell of a lot of money.0 -
I'm not alone in thinking this buyer knows a lot more about the value of these Items than you do. he may be a scammer but on the other hand, he may see a very fat profit if you sell to him at that price.
Every time I've had an item that I've had an offer on, the auction has been left on and the items have finally realised over double the offer price.
Personally, I'd take the items to a specialist, get a good discription and possibly a valuation, then re-auction , either on Ebay or a specialist auction house.
You might well be short changing yourself and alienating potential buyers by stopping the listings.0 -
Yeah, He has spent £1100 on jade pendants in the last 2 months, but I dont really know how those transactions unfolded. What would be my postage options? is fed ex, ups ect ok?0

Out of the 15,000 finished auctions of Jade pendants that can been seen on Ebay only 5 have sold for more than £500.
What you have must be very rare if this is a genuine buyer who knows his stuff.0 -
Or a scam bag who won't care what they pay as they will get them for free.0

One of the items is similar to this

but not a bright white and a little smaller. Where would I get them valued?0 -

Send some photo's to Sotherby's or Bonhams. Read the above link.
I've no axe to grind and no connection. Just want to see you get the best deal0 -
He's bought lots of high end stuff,
http://cgi6.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidItems&all=1&_rdc=1&userid=jameszhang324&&rows=50&completed=1&sort=12&guest=1
you could contact some of the sellers & see how the transaction went but I would still find a B&M auction house, they have the insurance & knowledge, they also take the risk on posting.0 -
Sotheby's are selling some jade this month in different auctions, http://www.sothebys.com/en/search.html#keywords=jade
I would try somewhere like that.0
