You could take them to be valued by someone in the trade or an auction house.
Why is he so keen and are they worth more. Good Luck0 -
I'd second that - get them independently valued.0

My bold. That's his problem, not yours. Stick to your guns......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Could I send the items individually with the royal mail? that would give me £2000 worth of insurance. Im still very sceptical about this sale tbh.0

I think when a buyer starts dictating to the seller how the transaction should go it's time for a long hard think about whether doing business with them will cause more grief than it's worth.
A buyer who is prepared to cough up thousands for something they haven't seen - and can't value - is a little suspicious......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I agree, very suspicious. He is insisting the transaction goes through Ebay and Paypal, is that an advantage for a scammer?0

ISF does not guarantee tracking outside of the UK and is dire in some countries.
For Paypal you will need signature with delivery shown online.
Personally, I would say he if wants them badly enough he should pay by bank transfer.
There will be fees, but once you confirm with your bank that the funds have cleared, you can ship.0 -
I'd be very worried that that email is worded very much like a standard african scammers would
Just doesn't ring true as chinese somehow?0
