    I let 20p escape today :(

I went out for lunch with some friends and they had one of those tussles over how much they owed and this 20p went back and forward and back and forward, in the end it just lay in the middle of the table. I was very tempted to grab it and say 'I'll just have it then' but I didn't want to show myself up :o

So we left and the 20p escaped my clutches :( I am still ruminating about it now :o

    Hi all
Every penny a prisoner is going to be my mantra for the New year, great idea and so easy to remember.
So if you are in a shop aisle where the chocolate is and hear someone muttering "every penny a prisoner" it will be me talking myself out of an impluse buy.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

5000 pennies gained yesterday by selling a bike that has been in my garage for about 2 years. It had never even been out of the box and if it stayed there was never likely to :o so I sold it to someone at work :T

They went straight into the bank so I wouldn't be tempted to let them escape over the holidays :)

First prisoners I have taken for ages :)
