Believe it or not - I have 18 articles planned on Mind Maps already. Of course I still need to write them up - but its a really great start.
MGFINALLY AND OFFICIALLY DEBT FREESmall Emergency Fund £500 / £500
Pay off all Debts £10,000 / £10,000

Woop!!!!
Postie has been - got paid for one of the newspaper articles - was originally £50 but they ran it in their sister paper so I got paid £100 - woop!!! woop!!!
And Horace sent a parcel for the boys - so I will let DS1 open it up later (Oh! I hope he is having a great day at school). He loves these Matrix surprises - it really has helped him work out that there is a bigger world than the one he sees every day. He always feels like it is Christmas all over again.
Now I need to sort out my internet business banking - my Frog for the day. So far I can see
Current Account
Savings Account
ISA Mortgage Account
so when I can see the Business one online will really be cooking on gas.

yay to newspaper articles.
sitting here panicking about money this month, so you have motivated me again, to get listing and doing MS jobs, to help.0 -
Why do paint manufacturers change the names of the paints? I went to pick up some pipe lagging for when the floors are done at the end of the week and thought I'd pick up some paint for the bedroom... but the names have changed and i'm not quite sure which of the many different versions of cream that the paint manufacturer makes is the one I used to have. So I need to take some off the wall and go and have it matched.
Need to do some work and keep on with clearing the bedroom and spare room so I can get the furniture moved tonight.0 -
Done my first frog for the day. Now onto frogs 2 and 3!
DH has had some bad health news, which is a bit disappointing for us. Lots to think about.
Great news on the article MG :j :j

MG there is something in that parcel for you too so make sure you snaffle it before the boys get their sticky mitts on it. The boys can't be spoilt too much.
Well, I went to college today - a 4 week course has become a 2 week one and I will learn some skills to help in my job search. One thing that the course is doing is giving me my confidence back:j There are only 5 of us in the class and we all seem to get on quite well. I need to attend Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday - I have been forced to change my Wednesday morning appointment and I am trying to shift my eye hospital appointment to Thursday or Friday morning.
Had to smile at mumsie's yesterday - she vowed not to use c*shelle loo paper after finding out from her sister that it does not dissolve and therefore blocks the loo - I ended up with a 32 roll pack..I won't need loo paper for another 4 months because I already have a 24 roll pack:eek: Came home with some cooled roast chicken, a slice of apple pie and a sirloin steak.
It seems that the house purchase will take 3 months according to her solicitor..sigh. I was told about not having garish colours - my colour palette is not garish but I guess I haven't been forgiven for having a purple bedroom when I was 10:rotfl: She is negotiating on the white goods but as the vendors are being greedy, she may end up buying new as it will be cheaper.0 -
:j:j DS1 reports that he has had a "brilliant" day in school. That some of the kids even asked what was different about him today:T
He focussed on keeping his "bell-jar" on to repel negativity and wearing a "cloak of confidence" to help him deal with some of the more overpowering kids. Fingers crossed that this is the start of something wonderful for him.
They have opened up their parcel and are really excited - they both have lovely DVD's to watch and DS1 has some book tokens (well we all agree on here that you can never have to many books)
There is even a voucher for me that I have stashed away for when I am building a new working wardrobe.
Best thing though - a wonderfully heartfelt letter saying thanks. Lifted my heart no end.
Wonderful end to a pretty productive day.

Well done on the frogs. Hope the thinking will bring some answers/solutions for you. When I had some bad health news the first thing I did was g**gle it and I can tell you its not the way to go about things  For proper answers I wrote down a heap load of questions some of them really silly and went to the consultant and GP with them - both very understanding and I got all the info I felt I needed to make an informed choice about any future treatment. Thoughts with you LaraBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
