Hi Gemmzie, I too have lots of frogs today so do you want to set up a mini challenge to see how many we can get done.

I have at least 10 to do, but I'll aim for 7.

Got my timer and away I go.

Anyone one else feel free to join in.

    Good morning

A lazy morning today, although I have sorted a load of washing on rads and put another load in the machine, and put dishes in the dw :)

Dh made loads of chicken casserole last night so we have decided to have it again for dinner then freeze the rest into single size portions, to go with the soup left overs we have been freezing,

Might do some baking as we got eggs that need using by tuesday

Good job really or I would have been on my hands and knees begging any Matrix lady with a spare ten minutes to help me re-type them up again.

MG, I'm a fast typist so if you ever need any help, give me a holler.

Bitsy, lovely to see you and great pictures of the pup. I enjoy borrowing other people's dogs as I couldn't cope with one of my own. One of them is just fabulous - her mum is a lurcher/collie cross, father is unknown and she looks like a large collie with tiger stripes and natural eyeliner. She behaves like a princess and definitely has a sense of humour - she'll pick up the post when it flies through the door then teases me about putting it in my hand. She won't try to come into my bedroom during the night but come the morning when she's ready to get up she'll push the door open and walk along the side of the bed wagging her tail so it hits the bed and stands patiently looking at me until I put my hand out to her - best alarm clock I've ever had!

Crickett, everything's crossed for your job interview.

Horace, I've been cheering you on from the side lines. You've achieved so much in the last few months and it just has to all come together for you.

OH has been a great help over the last couple of weeks and we've managed to clear a lot of my frogs. Some frogs have been started and replies etc awaited from others before they can continue and there are other things which have been discovered in the process of working through the piles which still need sorting. I no longer feel overwhelmed and when postie comes I can deal with everything straightaway and file it - that feels great!

I need to be ready to leave in 4 hours time (going to mum's for a few days) so need to get cracking as I've still to pack plus tidy up so the cleaner can work her magic whilst I'm away.

Finally finished reading the Mgt Book - OMG!!! Talk about drawing teeth. If I wasn't being paid for this one I would have abandoned it by chapter 2. So did it in my fifteen minute chunks.

In between I have cleaned my bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Put the beef on for tonight, made the yorkshire batter, finished the ironing, made and eaten breakfast, hoovered the livingroom and cleaned the mirrors .................classic avoidance techniques.:rotfl:

So now I just need to take 15 minutes to fly through the toddlers bedroom and then take a clean piece of paper and ink up a new mind-map ready for posting. This one I will not mind sending off:D

  • The garage is getting yet another blitz - very necessary, as I won't have a garage when I move. Ideally, in the new garden I would like a lean-to external weatherproof "cupboard" built using the back fence as its back wall, with sliding or folding doors along the front for access (to make the most of the garden space - it is tiny), and shelved inside. One of my clients who lives in that area has a relative who is a joiner, who may be able to do this for me. It wouldn't take up as much space as a standalone shed.

Anyway, it does mean that more stuff must go! So it is going. Some is on freegle, and some will be going to the charity shop in the morning. Two items for the local auction.

I have to remind myself that the garden shed here has gone, so what I'm now looking at in the garage is just what I'll take with me. Given the shed and the garage were both middens not so long ago, it's great to see progress!

MG - If you ever want anything typed give us a shout - I too am very quick and I touch type:D

Got up late today - spoke to mum on phone yesterday, it was decided that as they had had more snow than me and their road was now an ice rink that I would stay put today - I will having chicken breast for dinner and for lunch I am having the jacket spud I cooked yesterday and didnt eat. They have arranged another house viewing for Monday and will then put their offer in, however, they do not want to pay the asking price at all and there is a limit to what they can pay because they will have survey and solicitor's fees to take into consideration. Fingers crossed the vendors will accept the offer otherwise it will be a case of going back to the drawing board.

Business plans are being made and I received a letter from RBS yesterday offering me 2 yrs free banking for the Limited company that I have - I may well just take them up on their offer as that way I don't have to faff around with the Co-op...I would rather spread my banking around. No decision made as yet though..

Hope everyone else is surviving the cold and having a restful weekend.

Well done Triker. My cold has killed my brain. I'm either blowing my nose or coughing so I don't think I'm going to get much work done. I'm just hoping that they finish the floor completely today as I don't want it dragging on and have the offer of some cleaning on Tuesday :)

Feeling a bit sad this weekend, as my Gran is not very well :( Can't seem to get myself motivated. Supposed to be tidying up my computer, but am watching films on Netflix (30 day free trial :)). I have been sat here so long I might have fused with the sofa.

Groatie - will you have anything left after your de-clutter? :D Sounds like you're doing so well.
