    Good afternoon

Been shopping, £3 and got bag of frozen chips peas and a bag of potatoes, hoping that,s all I need to buy for a bit as no money till Tues.

Going to feed us out of the freezer hopefully for the rest of the month and only have to buy fresh stuff. So tonight is fish/fishcakes pas and chips, had an open bag of both so using them up.

  • Well done to Horace and Crickett a great start to the New Year.:j

I am trying to rewrite my cv. It needs to be a skills based one and I am engineering it to "showcase my abilities in certain areas namely admin, performance monitoring and customer services. With a view as receiving some free training for NVQ Assessing. Think my brain has turned to sponge though. Think I will may be try a mind map and see if that helps me.......aargh:eek:

    Off for a coffee and a rethink:D
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly

MG - excellent broadcast (& I got your article from someone's bin today :o). Now - I know it was your "telephone voice" but you did sound awfy pan-loafy...... I remember some of the Matrix conversations on here - you ain't pan-loafy :D

Didn't see anything major on the other side (or am I being dim?)

Now off to hunt off for posts.......

    Have a good one folks

    pan-loafy
If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

  • I'd imagined "plummy" was the equivalent too!

Awatherehen - that was my best BBC Scots doncha know????:rotfl::rotfl:

That's the voice that makes the Americans go weak at the knees.;)

And your right - pan loafy I'm not as I "skirl oot the door for the weans to cam in fer ther tea" :D

Actually was asked not to go too broad as it was broadcast in Ireland - and they can't do subtitles for radio :p

ETA Have a look in "View Active Topics" for MG Greatest Hits Clootie - any other Matrixettes who can spare a few minutes I would really appreciate some help.

Actually - why don't we all play? What we are looking at is to find out what your favourite post within the MG threads have been

What post made you stop and think?
    ............ or take action?
............. or change what you were doing?
............. made you burst out laughing?
    ............... or roll your eyes?

We thought it might be a nice idea to compile a Matrix Greatest Hits kind of things - all the useful, funny weird stuff we have chatted about as a resource for the newbies.

So post up a link to your favourite post and a short comment about how it affected / inspired / shocked you (Bra conversation anyone???)

    This should be fun

    Found it - thanks

And I didn't mean you sounded pretentious (in case I've offended people) but it must be a Scottish thing that when you need to you "talk posh". I do - people don't recognise me on the phone at times....:o

Will listen to MG once icklies have gone to sleep (hurry up kids) and got to get termly planning done tonight as printer at home has died and I would love to have it ''boxed off' before the weekend.

Huge :jfor Crickett and Horace - send some of that lb loss and £ gain round for the matrixettes to share please:p
