Good Morning all!! Happy New Year - Lets hope its a good one

Been awol over Christmas due to being away / asleep / reading & so on. My DH bought me 'The Secret' for Christmas and I'm engrossed in that atm.

Had a lovely time with family and friends although my Christmas mojo never showed up :-(

    Plans for today:
Tidy all my craft stuff away (carried over from the last 3 days!)
Go for a walk with DH & DS (new years resolution - to walk at least 2 miles every day)
Meal plan for as long as I have stuff for (lacking inspiration atm - but needs to be done)
Check bank to see how much I can pay off CCs (did the rounding thing but I think I may be able to add to that)

Hope evryone has a good day

    Happy new year everyone!!

Been away over Christmas too, travelling to see family. We had a lovely time, and I hope you all did too over Christmas.

My Gran is much changed after her fall and head injury. She's still a wonderful lady but little bits of her personality are somehow missing or different. My wish for 2012 is that she and my Granda can live a very happy independent life with a good quality of life. At 84 and 87 (still driving!) they are doing incredibly well.

My resolutions are - keep working well and meeting those deadlines, keep in touch with friends more, eat well and exercise, enjoy some nice cooking, baking and sewing.

 Here's to a great coming year!

    .................. and so it begins!!!

Sat down for a cup of tea - and lost one of the veneers off my front tooth. So sore and snaggletoothed MG until the Dentists open in the New Year.

Still - its not as if I have a hot date ........................YET!!!!

Hello All - didn't go to bed until 4am in the end  think I might suffer for that as my days of staying up that late are long gone. We had a lovely evening though with many laughs, so all good.

Going to my sister's this afternoon for a family get together. My niece is going to be there and after a falling out we haven't spoken to each other for three years, so I am not sure how to handle it really. I don't know whether to ignore her, try to speak or just play it by ear I suppose. My daughter tried to speak to her at a family wedding in the summer and she blanked her, so it would seem she isn't interested in making up!

Afternoon all, very tired after last night's celebrations - just had a quiet night in with friends and crashed out at 2am but you never sleep as well on a pull-out bed so you *yawns*...

Have completed the task of gutting the fridge - only in date, edible foods left now which is much better! So part one of stock take is done
