Don't go to the shops then! That's my strategy for 11 months of the year.

just got my mum and dads left to order, fortunately i know what i am getting them its just a case of getting the time to go and pick them up (£5 for delivery or a 15 min walk.....i know which i am choosing just got to sort myself out) other than that last batch came at the begining of last week, just got to wrap them now, but not going to do that until the tree is up which will probably be done this weekend if not next weekend
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

I am all done, like to be prepared so that the last few weeks it can be about family, a trip to the cinema to see the latest xmas movie, my fav thing to do is go and have a coffee in a huge shopping centre and people watch, they get frantic, edgy, tetchy and so furious with all the queues we just sit their leisurely get the xmas spirit and smile that we have finished:D

I have done the presents, stockings, cards, food menus, all I have to do is buy the perishables closer to the big day, ordered the rest and let xmas begin:j

I have almost finished mine and it hasn't been too painful on the wallet. I used my Tesco vouchers to get my mum's pressie from BeautyExpert. I have also picked up some nice things in TKMaxx throughout the year.

I wanted to finish early this year as high street shops are a nightmare on December. I also got caught out by the Amazon postal problem last year. I ordered lots of pressies in the first week of December and they didn't arrive until January so I am not risking that again.

Did they offeryou any form of compensation? Was that the snow?

I have never had a problem with amazon, guess it must have been the snow..

I've bought all the presents & wrote the xmas cards.
Food is all ordered to be picked up on the 23rd.

I loathe crowds so i'm always organised early.
