I'm normally organised to be honest, was planning on going out today to get some bits but realised all those who should be at picket lines will probably be out doing some Christmas shopping, so it'l be heaving here. May do some online, the weather isn't bad here yet, so hoping I get it
I was the same here actually, I am going to start tomorrow, not cos it is 1st December, but because I was going to start today then remembered that town will probably be full of kids today!!!

I will only be 4 months pregnant at Christmas so no excuses for me :rotfl:

In the last few years we haven't been able to afford that much with getting married and everything so will be nice to get a few bits, but still bargains at the same time :j

I shouldn't have an excuse either, but it's good to have one, it's my reply to everything now when I just can't be bothered :D

Mine are all bought and I wrapped them the weekend before last! Feeling very organised this year as last year I was rushing around on my lunch break on Christmas Eve like a headless chicken! NEVER AGAIN!

I've bought lots in the sales throughout the year so haven't spent crazy money, and bought some lovely things in TK Maxx too.

All done here as well. Presents are bought and wrapped, cards are written and waiting to go in the post (the post here is terrible, so have tried to be organised this year so people actually get them on time). I've just got a couple more christmas cakes to make for my family as I do homemade gifts for them.
Glad I'm sorted, went into my nearest town today and it was crazy, hoping it was just a one off because of the strikes.

Shopping is stressful so you have to treat yourself :-p

Every time my wife goes christmas shopping she always seems to come back with shoes or a bag. My present was a little bigger than those but its less frequent :j

Mine's usually all done by about mid-November (I've got a run of birthdays mid-Nov into early-Dec so I tend to do it all prior to that). Hate the shops around December anyway - last year we were moving house at this time so I had to leave it all till after we'd moved and it drove me nuts feeling it was that last-minuteish. All done and wrapped this year - especially since I got a massive tax rebate so had the spare cash to spend.

Heck, this year even my husband, mister last-minute himself, is all organised in advance!

Means we can spend December picking up the food stuff in drips and drabs - no wine this year since I'm another one that's pregnant.

I've got all the presents, wrapped them, hidden them and got the cards written out ready to post. I'm not normally this organised, well not since I was pregnant with 2 of my girls who are December births.
The reason I'm so organised this year is that I came to Beijing on 20th November and don't get back in the UK until Decmeber 18th so it was a case of having to be.
I still have to get all the food shopping etc but my daughters will order our turkey next week and I'll have them make a start on picking up bits & bobs with their shopping.
