i've managed quite a few UU/GA of late which is good considering i was lucky to get some goodies for christmas
    2 x sanctuary salt scrub - i love this stuff :)
    avon hand cream
aqueous cream - a must have as the only thing i can wash my hands with
    intensive heel balm
set of mini sactuary body butters.

before i go back to work tomorrow i'm going through my box of goodies and sorting some things out for friends at work, that way i can then box things up properly ready for our move.

:grouphug: For Rosemary - this time of the year seems to bring out the best and worst in us sometimes.

I was back on the streets today but no NPI (for toiletries at least). Did get a lovely cape in the M & S sale even though I had deceided that no more coats and jackets were getting bought this year.

I also got my mums birthday prezzie sorted to - a beautiful cashmere cardigan that was in their sale to. Mum loves it and her birthday is in 6 weeks. Result!

My perfume mini of Jasper Conran is now spluttering and will be a UU shortly. Other than that there in no movement.

hope you all had a great christmas :)

I think I was pretty restrained considering I was planning to stock up in the sales:D but here are my ins:

    l'occitane green tea solid perfume
l'occitane jasmine and green tea soap
    Lush superstars bubble bar
    Lush candy mountain bubble bar
BS spiced vanilla BB x2 (yum!)
    BS passionfruit shower gel
    BS almond hand cream

I also bought a snow fairy lip tint but then looked at my lip balm stash and gave it to my cousin:D

none of it was impulse bought and it will all be used :)

however my brother has just told me of a l'occitane outlet he lives next to...well, it would be rude not to look!
    Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:13
  • Oooh dear, I think I may possibly have the worst INs of the lot of you after my sales trips of the last two days:eek: So here goes, everything was half price or less in my defence:A

Hmm that's quite some lol, in my defence I didnt get the northern lights hat box becuase it had too many soaps or the Merry Christmas Darling today because by then I'd already brought half the stash.

I also got 2 x Boots extracts body butter sets- these are for gifts and one was paid for with points and a Molton Brown Illustion set for BFs dads bday in February.

Another IN to confess my the boyfriend- L'Occitane cherry blossom starter gift set mmmmmm and yey a UU to help balance the books ;) Natural Collection wild strawberry shower cream, Prob wouldn't buy again not so keen on the strawberry milkshakey smell oooh and of course I don't need to! Phew hope you've all been better behaved than me!!

Another UU Boots baby shampoo, decanted into a handwash container, we go through loads of handwash so will be used up quickly.
Back to work today, :( its been a bit of a shock
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
  • Santa has added to my stash some lovely Neal's Yard stuff (two shower creams, some body butter and some body lotion) if only I hadn't caved in to the S&G Boots offer before Christmas I would have done really well this year.

A couple of UUs - two sample sachets of Propolis cream (don't know where they came from, not so special I would ever buy it) and some Waitrose baby butter which I bought because I read somewhere that it made a good night cream. It was way to heavy and sticky for my skin and now it smells off so I binned it.

I shall have to do a stash list for the New Year to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Hope 2012 brings everything you wish for and keep up the good work ladies!

    another UU!
liz earle c&p. never mind HG, this stuff is on the list of what to save if the house burns down. I'm trying to clear the backlog of random cleansers in my stash before starting the full size one i have so i'm feeling a bit  atm. only consolation is the dr haushka one is mercifully small and i've found 2 sample c&ps that are in the queue too so i can still get a fix.

I went to the john lewis sale today, its rubbish! they were still sticking price labels on stuff so nobody knew what was sale and what it cost.
managed to resist the origins reduced sets and instead spent my xmas money on a cath kidston knitting bag, a knitting needle set and some wool. i just need to learn to knit now :D

I really wish that LE had not changed the formula of C&P cos I felt the way that you did before it changed. At the moment I am using Elemis Balancing Cleanser which is workng well for me and I've already asked MrM to buy me the Elemis QVC TSV on 7 Jan as it allegedly contains 400ml bottles of the cleanser and toner.

I was hoping that JL would have the L'Occitane offer that it had on last year on the liquid soap but it doesn't look like they are selling any "Special Buys" this year. I also bought some Ojon on special offer.

I also got some bargains on the Next sale : 3 blouses for work.

Watch out adilade those outlets are lethal. I am so glad that the nearest one to us is in Ellesmere Port - a good 1.5hours away! lol

Lovely haul there seasideDreamer. I'm wishing I had some S&G now! By all accounts it seems you have been really lucky to get your hands on a Marc Jacobs Daisy gift set. There are folks over on the Boots ½ price sale thread going mad cos they couldn't get hold of one.

I also love the Extracts Body Butters and L'Occitane Cherry Blossom fragrance in your haul.

  • Hello ladies, after mostly following your progress since the beginning, I wanted to say well done, and thanks for all the tips over the last 2 years. I don't actually have a stash, and therefore have never joint you, however I have very much enjoyed the recommendations and atmosphere of this thread.

I was wondering if you can help me? I figured you are the best bunch of people to answer my query (with your extensive experience). I'm looking for a mascara and eye liner that don't smudge. I'm tired of looking like a panda after one hour. I have recently tried the Mally range sold on QVC they said it is "bullet proof" - I think it might smudge and run more than others I have tried. I would like a mascara that don't make my eye lash all stick together as well - if not a recommendation for a good eye lash brush would be good too. Thanks in advance of your help.
