Merry Christmas everyone.
IN: Lots and lots of Sanctuary stuff0 -
Oh boy, have I some INs..... my sister gave me a Champney's gift set. (CHAMPNEY'S!!!) So I have Moisture Miracle Skin Comforting Bath Milk (Cannot take baths due to arthritis, so may have to regift), Moisture Miracle Skin Comforting Body Wash and Vitamiracle rejuvenating hand and nail cream. All in a lovely zipped case. As well as that, books, chocolates, a lovely cardigan, mini wine set, earrings, CD, reflective armbands, hot water bottle, sleep masks x 2 ! Hope you all had a lovely day, looking forward to hearing about the toiletry INs.
I had to gift myself yet more shampoo/conditioner when I dropped the conditioner from the duo 250 ml P bottle set of Pantene for coloured hair I was gifting as a stocking filler and the blasted lid broke... May well put it to one side and re-gift as a house-warming present for friend in New Year, with apologies!
Hope you have all had a wonderful day with loved ones. xxErma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

Ive barely had any toiletries for Christmas - yay !! I got my lovely SS goodies, and a homemade lavendar and oatmeal soap from my cousin, and I bought myself an auzzie 3 minute miracle conditioner for my stocking (little did i know that my mum had thought to do stockings too!) Oh - and she bought me the olay wrinkle thingy - but i think im going to gift that to my friend - shes 40 in January, and this moisturiser is for people who are 40+ i thought it might be fun to give it to her....
The sort of other half redeemed himself a couple of days ago - for anyone who remembers that at one point I got "hoep you dont mind but i havent got anything for you for christmas" last week - (i told him that as long as he didnt mind that i HAD got him some things(!) and that if he forgot my birthday I wouldnt be impressed....) he then followed up on Friday night with "Ive been thinking - for a joint birthday and christmas present would you like a ticket to Champion Chase day at Cheltenham?" (he looks after one of the favourites for it - and we have talked about me being there, but he knows i havent managed to get my ticket yet!) so hes forgiven (well - if i manage to get one he will be!!) for the moment, and my current panic about if we will still be "definately not in a relationship" by then are in a box till way after - hes still refusing to accept and admit it - but still talking about the future, so Im just ignoring it all !! (hope im not going to have a mahoosive fall again!!)
Anyway - Hopefully we have all had a lovely christmas, dont go too mad in the sales girlies !!xxxxxx

Hi all, hope you are having a lovely Christmas.
So my Christmas INs:-
1) my lovely SS pressie - a goody bag full of Origins samples - 7 tubes and 2 sachets in total. Thank you whoever you are, much appreciated as I've been meaning to try this brand for a while and now can!
2) Elemis Rejuvenating Angels kit containing my beloved PCMC, night cream, tri-enzyme facial wash, clear mind bath elixir and PC mask. Lovely and again much appreciated as I am on the last splutterings of my PCMC. (from MrM)
3) Laura Geller Bake Sale kit containing Champagne Spackle, Balance N Brighten, blusher, eyeshadow trio and lipstick. Have tried all parts except the Balance N Brighten as I have one already open but this is the last in my stash so again much appreciated.(from MrM).
4) Philosophy Cinnamon Buns shower gel (from MrM) and Philosophy Fun in the Frosty air kit containing three shower gels (from my sister).
5) 18 piece kit of mini lacquers Sephora by OPI. Have just painted my nails with Almost Famous - a gold shimmery colour (MrM).
On top of these I did go to the Boots sale today and did not plan on spending any money as I had my giftcard from work. With this I got the DKNY Golden Delicious gift set and a bottle of Botanics Rosewater toner (I use this and am on last spluttering).
Then I said I wanted to see what S&G was left (just in case there were any kits made up of only products that I use and love (there weren't)) when MrM spotted a shelf full of the Philosophy tree ornament shower gels that people had been raving about on MSE. Thinkng that I may get the 1000 Advantage points still picked up three and then MrM also wanted a new wash bag for when he works away so we bought these. The Philosophy shower gels at first went through at full price but then were adjusted for us to half by a Manager (the 1000 points offer has expired). MrM got a Hackett wash bag containing 4 products I think for £15.00. All in all not bad as the Philosophy shower gels were the only unjustified spend.
I fear I am still not a reformed character as I have a 3 easy pay voucher code for QVC burning a hole in my pocket. I think though as a family we really NEED some L'Occitane liquid soap! I also have my eye on the upcoming Elemis TSV (7 Jan - not that anyone here is interested) and MrM has said he will get me this for my birthday (in Feb - reckon I can last on what I have in my stash until then!).
Can't wait to see what everyone else has received. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Laura Mercier: Luxe Colour Palette w/ 6 eyeshadows, 3 cake eyeliners, 2 blushers and 3 brushes. Also 2 x mini palettes w/ 3 eyeshadows each and a travel brush set.
I'm chuffed with my sales haul, I managed to get everything I decided I wanted and would actually use before hand, all at half price :T
The Laura Mercier brush set was a brilliant find too. I was going to get one of the brushes in it from mac that are over £30 a pop and saw the full size LM version in a set in Space.nk along with 8 other brushes and a brush bag reduced from £66 to £33. :j0
