Hello ladies,
Hope you all had a nice few days.
Two GAs: Nails Inc polish, regifted
I have a few INs: my SS which I am very pleased with and it was beautifully packaged, so a big thank you to whoever you are! In particular the lipstick, it really is a perfect colour for me so well done!!
One bottle of bath crystals from brother-in-law
No other toiletries except for 4 M&S nail varnishes from my Mum: gold, silver and two dark glittery ones.
I made a second purchase on the Boots website, as I don't have the chance to look instore I have to get my kick this way! Sadly even before Christmas none of the Philosophy minis available and the full sized stuff isn't reduced. What really irritates me about the Boots website is how all the stuff that is OOS still shows up, you get all excited and then can't order it. I haven't found a way to search only what's in stock.
So, when I'm in England next month I'm going to have a case full of toiletries, oops. Remind me why I'm doing this challenge again?
You all get an extra bank holiday today, don't you? They don't that here.......The Swiss like working too much!Do nothing in haste; look well to each step; and from the beginning think what may be the end - Edward Whymper0 -
thank you SS for my lovely parcel of goodies esp the soap and glory stuff which I have never used before:j.....DH had just openned his SS parcel from work(max £5 spend but he bought posh chocs at double that) ....anyone seen the mini green rubbish bins that are supposed to be used on a desk?...well that is what he got...about £1 from poundland...not impressed:rotfl:luckily I bought him some lovely things.
he got me a pair of earings and some opium body cream(pity as still have last years and did tell him it was the perfume I wanted:()had a major row with him on Christmas day and still upset:(:(:((not about pressies!)
talked to DS 1 and 2 on skype, hard to plan day as one 11 hours ahead and 1 8 hours behind:rotfl:
DS2 had sandwiches for christmas dinner on bondi beach as could not afford to eat out:(and DS1 was home alone with a hangover:(DS3 was with us after spliting with his girl of 3 years so all in all not the best christmas ever and now I feel on the verge of divorce and would leave if I had somewhere to go
sorry to moan but can't call people to say such things at this time of the year !!!!0 -

I'm not sure that the Philosophy goodies should have been reduced. As mentioned yesterday I got some from our local Boots which were in the Sales Aisle and the Manager asked a SA to move them once ours had been tilled up at 50% off. They couldn't argue that they were not in the sale as nothing had been priced up ie as selected items. Shame they did not have any full sizes - mind you suppose I shouldn't really.
A UU today: tube of Yes to Carrots hand cream. WBA although not yet. I have a couple of tubes of hand cream and a few bottles of hand lotion to get through in my stash.
I did use my QVC Easy Pay voucher yesterday to buy a L'Occitane liquid handwash collection containing 2 x 500mls (one bottle, one refill pouch) and a 300ml hand and body lotion (groans as I realise it's another to add to the stash). We are getting to the very end of an OS handwash in the kitchen - mint and tea tree - and that too is stripping my hands so unless I invest in a decent liquid soap I need more hand lotion! Catch 22! LOLBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I got some lovely toiletries over Christmas: L'Occitane, M&S and other odds and ends.
Though I have been disappointed that the online Lush sale didn't materialise due to a collosal website failure, I'm pleased that it has now meant I haven't bought myself any toiletries!!0 -
another UU!
liz earle c&p. never mind HG, this stuff is on the list of what to save if the house burns down. I'm trying to clear the backlog of random cleansers in my stash before starting the full size one i have so i'm feeling a bit  atm. only consolation is the dr haushka one is mercifully small and i've found 2 sample c&ps that are in the queue too so i can still get a fix.
I went to the john lewis sale today, its rubbish! they were still sticking price labels on stuff so nobody knew what was sale and what it cost.
managed to resist the origins reduced sets and instead spent my xmas money on a cath kidston knitting bag, a knitting needle set and some wool. i just need to learn to knit now0 -
