Pickle, I have now officially adopted you as the angel on my shoulder to keep me on the straight and narrow!
So, reasonably proud of myself - was in Boots today to get some of the philosophy minis (3 for 2 plus 1000 points offer). Found them after a ridiculous amount of time looking (and actively trying to not look at all the stuff I want for myself!) successful trip, £14 for the 3 so that's some gifts sorted - they nicely finish off presents for friends where it felt like they needed just a little extra! Also got 3 sanctuary sets - cute boxes with mini body wash, scrub and lotion for £7.15 each. I ummed and ahhhed over the
, but figured ultimately they were nice gifts, £5 each after offer kicks in, and not christmassy in packaging so they are going in the cupboard for birthday presents etc next year.
Am slightly tempted to get more of the philosophy minis while the glitch works - save them for next Xmas - but I think I'd prob give them to the same people as this year and so possibly not the best idea...

Cor, you're brave - I weigh a ton with all the mince pies I've baked and eaten this past few weeks, and I'm very smelly (in a nice way!) due to the amount of toiletries I'm using! :rotfl:
Well ladies, I went to a l'Occitane outlet with Picklemum today. I spent £16.80 on some shower gels for under the tree for Picklemum, and managed to pass all the beautiful verbena products at bargainous prices (not easy as they are gorgeous, but I remembered how much stuff I have to use up and just could not justify it - how did I becomes so well-behaved?! :A :A :A) I did help Picklemum blow just over £160, though, on some seriously discounted stuff! Please call me 'Pickle'

So did ISo... I didn't give in to the S&GBut I have been bought it as a present
Oops
So was mine :j:j From Mil & Fil - to be totally honest they gave me boots vouchers for the full amount and I went to our small Boots today and (after much persuading by OH I have to say!) I decided to go for it. But I have balanced it by putting the YouCube gift set I was intending to 'buy' myself from them back into the gift cupboard for one of the neices brithdays later in the year*Performs complicated Toiletries thread salute that involves moves that vaguely look like applying make-up quickly*

Hello ladies! Hope we're all enjoying the christmas offers
I've had a fair few outs as christmas presents (I'll include make up in these as well because I have a serious problem there as well!)
1 set of 10 make up brushes
3 Barry M glitter eye shadow things
TBS coconut showergel, body lotion and body butter
TBS Almond showergel and body butter
Burts Bees Radiance Gift set
Burts Bees shower gel
TBS Strawberry shower cube
Oil of Olay facewipes and beauty fluid set.
These are my christmas presents- I bought all of TBS stuff in the mega glitch this year so i've made 2 gift sets with thim-i've just added a bath scrunchie to them which I got for 49p from wilkos. The burts bees radiance set and showergel was a freebie for subscribing to Instyle so i've put these in a set with the oil of olay (£6) ( it's for my step mum and she loves stuff like that) with a shower scrunchie, again 49p.
So a cost break down (I'm quite proud of myself if you can't tell!)
Only paid for the TBS Almond showergel and body butter which meant I got the TBS coconut for free. The bath cube was a little something to boost it to the correct amount an ended up being free.
The Burts bes was free )apparently worth £39.99, so only paid £6 for the olay for the stepmother
Makeup brushes are excellent and came to about £5 and the 3 Barry M glitters were on offer- I think £1
So that's £30 spend ( and a HUGE amount of space gained back!)
for.... £114.99 (approx) worth of value!!
Just shows the value of these toiletries that we're sat on and hoarding!0 -

Have to admit, I've never really tried L'Occitane stuff - saw the prices and ran away so I couldn't love them and be tempted!
Good news to report - I FINALLY finished the Liz Earle c&p cleanser!! This has been the bane of my life wanting to finish it up for ages so I'm happy!!

Good plan! My mum's friend (who I believe is totally debt-ridden, which tells you something) introduced her to them (FYI my mum isn't). Some of the products she likes were on seriously special offer, and she would have bought herself some anyway, so it made sense to go to the outlet to get them. She spent a lot (and rarely does), but saved an absolute fortune! (She is moving to a different country soon, and won't have a source where she is going, so it was a good idea while she still can.)

VALM - thats wonderful news - Congrats !!!!!
loving the new toiletries dance - we may need to adopt that for the front page....
My not very (cos she must be the only person without!) secret santa gift is going to have another go at being sent tomorrow - the sorting office was shut when i took it on Saturday, so it had to wait till today. Be cross if they charge me again (though having said that, I might just take it and send it through work - I know how much it is now, I just object to paying twice!!!) anyway - theres a gift and lots of bits (def havent taken advantage and thought "yay - I can get rid of all sorts of things that someone else might like/have a home for!!) the irony of having to send it again is that I was in your neck of the woods today - should have thought better and brought it round !!!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0
