Just received my SS present and I love it! So thank you to whoever it was :)

    IN
    Leighton Denny Miracle Drops :)

    OUT
Lush Imperialis Trial Size: WIBA? No. Didn't buy this one either, but didn't get on with it. No idea why I kept it for so long!

Ladies who love Philosophy, pay attention! I hadn't heard of them until this thread btw :p MrB has an offer online of 1000pts wyb 3 or more selected Philosophy products. However in the Bluewater store they have a very small Philosophy stand, and the Christmas gifts had signs by them stating they were 342. Now not a bad deal. So I picked up 3 of the mini shower gels (in the cute cardboard packaging) at £7 each, total obviously then £14. However, the points offer kicked in too though it wasn't marked in store anywhere!! SO all three in MrB's logic for the princely sum of £4!! Only one is mine btw :p

I was planning on buying some stuff I probabaly don't need in the sales....

OH gets paid at the end of the month too - it was quite a shock to us the first year as we were so used to getting the money xmas eve and going out and doing a big shop :D Look on the bright side - you know you didn't need anything from the sales. Save your points but if you feel the need to splurge them hang on until mid-jan when the 75% sale hits :p
As with all these trials the instructions say 'You may want to make some notes whilst using the product'. Yes, welll....

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm very tempted to spend some of my points on the big S&G set - I keep looking at it on the website and thinking - will I use it all :o I was in boots yesterday (avoided all temptation for myself but had a free '17' product voucher from the ATM which I had to fight to get redeemed) and there were walls of S&G sets 4 high and 25 across (yes I counted :p) and pyramids of them as tall as me (that's 5' 3" fact fans!). And that was just in the cosmetics bit - I didn't go down the gift section.

I will have an UU tonight so will pop it on now:

Avon Planet Spa Body Butter (can't remember the flavour - think it was Olive Oil?): WIBA? Yes - I like the PS butters and the mini kilner type jar it comes in is very sweet. Was expensive at full price so would only buy on offer.

Have a great day folks

Haven't even put our tree up yet :( Work has been totally manic and trying to get the invoice checking/VAT returns done means everything is aaahhhhh!!! IYKWIM? :o

bless ya - I was only kidding :p plus I need pressies for ME under the tree - OH and DD have loads and not-a-one for me (until today) :(

Speaking of xmas and DD - we were under the impression that she was with us for xmas for the first time in 4 years but last night she announced that she was off to Africa on holiday with her mother  2 weeks ago they hadn't even booked anything - we suspect she told her mum she was coming to us and miraculously out of thin air a holiday appears  OH is incredibly upset and spitting feathers :mad:

I'm cross because of the extra money we've spent getting extra little gifts and goodies in just for DD that will go to waste as we'll have a repeat of the last few years again - rip open pressies, leave them in a box in her room (some of last years are still there!), bolt down some xmas dinner and then start whining about going to a friends 'cos she's bored  Whole thing couldn't have lasted 4 hours from start to finish!

So - my question to you lovely ladies is: Would it be wrong of us to remove some of her gifts from the pile and put them away for next year? She won't notice, it would save us some money and - in the short term - stop us feeling so :mad: or would that just be mean?

What do you think?? She's 17 btw if that helps?

My sister always tells me off for my impatience with presents :o

If it's extra bits you bought specifically because she would be with you for longer, than I would put some to one side as she's not actually there like you thought she would be. Maybe give her the odd one throughout the year? I think she'd like that, getting something small every-so-often.

    Hi everyone!

I have a rather large list of UU. I prob should go to the naughty step because I was saving them up so when I declared my xmas present INs of the Dec Glossybox and Joliebox I wouldn't look quite so bad! :/ obv they are v late and I'm getting bored of hanging on.

    UU:
Ceutem illuminating mask and moisturiser samples - WNBA, had a weird strong smell about it.
Bare Minerals cleanser 1 UU 1 GA - WNBA, not a patch on Liz Earle
Bare Minerals moisturizer 1 UU 1 GA - WNBA, I don't thinks its rich enough (both GA for presents, no point keeping what I know doesn't work!)
jimmy choo perfume samples x2 - GA for presents but WBA, I just have too much perfume atm.
clinique make up remover - free with Glamour but WBA.
origins toner - WNBA, all I could smell was alcohol
clinque high impact mascara sample - WNBA, no different to other mascaras and nowhere near as good as the bare minerals one
scarlett & crimson blotting papers - WNBA, needed about 5 to get my face properly sine free and they rip SO easily.
asda nail polish remover pads - WBA, they work well and weren't too expensive. one pad does all 10 nails for me.

    IN
Origins plantscription eye cream sample - got a 5ml tube in exchange for recycling all my empties at the counter in Boots. not bad getting over £5 worth of cream for a few empty tubs that were destined for the bin :)

(EDIT: I've worked it out per ml and its worth £11.66. Why I stopped recycling with them I don't know!)
