  • Afternoon all! Hope you're all good.

Had a quick skim to catch up - Happy Birthday to those who's birthday's I'd missed!
And Sarah*a - great news about LD! x

Firstly - toiletries. I have a UU - Loreal Elvive Damage Repair conditioner. WBA as it does the job, is a decent price and usually on offer. Smells nice and OH likes it too :D been using a combination of this, Redken All Soft and every so often the Redken intensive conditioner and my hair finally seems to be getting back to nice shiny condition!

I also resisted the Bodyshop 50% off offer of yesterday. But we were at the hospital with OH getting a rather invasive procedure so not much time to shop anyhow. Anyway after a couple of weeks of worrying, we got good results - OH is all clear and no sign of cancer which was the worry. Big phew. :j

I did however, in celebration of good things, buy him a rather expensive Xmas present. He has been strictly told it is his xmas/valentines/easter/birthday/any other occassion for the next year present :rotfl: So now I need to sort my finances out for once and for all, and clear the credit cards that I've just put that cost onto!!!! So much for a debt free new year, but I'm not too far away.

    xx

had a lovely time trawling through the stash being mummy santa:):):):)had forgotten about lots of make up I had from bonus times and have now put some things ready to use over Christmas as new year resolution(ok a bit early!) is not to worry about wasting make up as I don't think I have ever finished lippy/eyeshadownail polish and treat myself to new stuff from the stash esp at the start of a new year.
did plan to reduce the soap mountain slightly by adding a small one to SS but then forgot to put it in:rotfl:
woke up early due to cold so painted nails whilst drinking tea in bed ,used a no7 miracle one (where it changes colour with a top coat) but liked the colour so left it on its own...it is called chocolate but looks grey and pearly so on trend

    Great news Flirtini :T

Finished my holiday unpacking (I know, shocking leaving it so long) to find my freebie Gucci Guilty shower gel was leaking. Thankfully I had it wrapped up in a carrier bag so it hadn't got to anything else. So I have put that in my shower and started to use this morning. Lovely smell.

Also my LHJ Elle Foot Butter is almost gone.

Sodium Lauryl Sulphate - usually found in wash products like cleansers and shampoos. Can be very harsh for people with sensitive skin.

Unfortunately, I have no UUs or INs to report. :(

Back from 1.5 (:p) days in Manchester. Went to see Bryan Adams in concert, we were at the front and it was brilliant! Some of you may laugh at me, but I love Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi :o

Got to declare for November later, and then a couple of INs as well :o

I am catching up on the thread so you may all see a string of posts from me here - have had a busy couple of days.

I so wanted to see Bryan Adams (everytime he has toured recently we have been away) but couldn't afford anymore MEN tickets as we saw Peter Kay and Red Hot Chilli Peppers last month and are seeing Russell Howard next week.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
