I've had the back door open all morning - I only closed it because I think the dogs are cold - (BD is trying to bury herself under the sofa blanket and LD is sat on my shoulder having a cuddle as I type) :rotfl:

Talking of LD - an update :D We had him back at the vets last friday for more tests and he has stabilised (for now) with his Cushings :j He's on the lowest dose needed for his tablets now, his fur has all grown back (a medical miracle as that's not supposed to be possible!) and his bladder is more or less under control. We are down to just one toilet trip per night now on average. Back to the vets in the new year and if he has remained stable we can start to sort out his diabetes :T

There is such a difference in him from 12 months ago. Last December he was grey and 'threadbare' (IYKWIM?). We couldn't take him out without wrapping him up in his coat and he wore it inside too. Now he's fluffy and white again and hasn't needed to wear his coat at all :T

While we are on medical updates - I had my Lignocaine Infusion at the hospital (took forever but I managed to get away with only a couple of the side effects). So far no change and I should be seeing one by now :( I've even had to take extra pain killers/blockers on some days but I think that's more because I've been overdoing it than anything else :o Still - staying positive - somethings got to work eventually right? :D

Sorry for the long O/T post :o

Slightly back ON T -(I don't think this has been mentioned!) if anyone has bought Nivea For Men gift sets as a xmas gift check inside a there is a tiny leaflet with a code to get a £3 voucher off any N4M moisturiser. A nice stocking filler/extra as they are reduced in most supermarkets at the moment :D

woke up cold and with a headache as DH away yet again (can't blame him for the head!) at 6 a.m and went down to get pills.Dcat was making a fuss and thought she wanted food so ignored her and went back to bed.......big mistake, when I got up again found she had left me a (smelly) pressent in the bath....well she was near the loo so give her points for trying and it was better there than behind the freezer or fire where her sister used to go in emergencies:eek::eek::eek:

been a tiny bit bad!had an email from clinique and was tempted:eek:I needed some of my HG moisture surge and as they have a gift thing at the mo with free post over £30 I gave in and got the moisture surge with 5 freebies (sample sizes that will be useful for trips away)
only thing is this will go on for several days and may well be tempted again by tomorrows offer:rotfl::rotfl:

did i say last night I saw the jacket I bought last monday from east on 30% discount now has 50% off????so costs around £35 less:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:...of course it was what I wore to the ball on saturday:(I did think of buying one online and taking it back with the shop receipt but would have to pay £4 post and spend half a day going into town so probably not worth it.think I must be ill as tho DH is away and I am free to go to town I really can't be bothered as there is nothing I need:eek:so am having a crafty day making stuff (flower arrangements) for church coffee morning next week:A

just bought a local groupon deal for afternoon tea for two (60% off) at £12 BUT they had given me a code yesterday for £5 so only paid £7:):):):)......who cares about the diet???

Ladies I am SOOO excited! :D

My hair went mental (For want of a better word) a few years ago,and ever since I have spent my time trying to find the best shampoo for it. Nothing has seemed to work to restore it to its former glory. I've tried loads of cheap brands, Ojon, some spa stuff that was given to me as a present and I don't know where it came from...you name it, I've tried it. The nearest thing I've found has been Kerastase, which still wasn't perfect, and an eye-watering £13.something a small bottle. However, I've just used a bottle of Dr. Organics Royal Jelly shampoo for the first time yesterday, and it seems to have done the job! :D (I might be counting my chickens here, but two days after a wash it still feels great. I'm still using it in conjunction with my Kerastase conditioner until it has gone (and that's ages away due to having bought one of the salon sized ones off Ebay as it's marginally cheaper). I hope it stays this good, as I'm delighted! :j

Also, I'm really near the end of my eye make-up remover, which is great. :) That will be another one off the list soon. :):)

I may well make 130 before the end of the year yet! :D

Me Too :D Wonder why no conditioner - they usually send both to convince you they'll be best if used together ? ?

    Pantene trial update...
Sarah*a's samples appear to have gone missing in the post. Not happy with Royal Mail, I know it was sent 2nd class but I'm miffed. There were vouchers in there too, luckily I still have some more vouchers that I can send, though annoyingly the Tesco S/O has now ended.

Other samples have arrived, now it's a matter of getting folks on the phone.
Rosemary and xoxo your samples have been sent today, sorry for the delay, but I can only get to the town to post stuff on my trike and the weather's been vile for cycling. I'll message you the surveys when you've had a chance to use them.
Today it was too dangerous for me to walk any distance at all - paths were really icy, ditto roads - but the trike copes brilliantly with ice.
Here's some feedback on Pantene Pro-V Protect and Smooth For Coloured Hair from a lady on the Freebie - No Spend thread. She was the first person I sent samples and vouchers to.

"Have tried all the samples and very pleasantly surprised, they were really nice, used the vouchers in tesco, but in ours they were only reduced from £3 to £2, but a £1 a bottle was a very good deal"

Rosemary and xoxo, I hope you like yours as much!
