As long as it is a provable BR debt then ignore it and put the debt into your BR.

There are certain debts that cannot be included in your BR eg: student loans, these are non provable. The rest like your loans and credit cards and utility bills are provable and can be included in your BR.

  • OK, thanks. The BR fee is really backing me into a corner. I feel i have no option but to use credit on a catalogue in order to sell on the goods to get the money, I know this is bad but I'm grasping at straws (and theres very few). I've been so low I've even thought of the ultimate sin, but my children keep me away from there. I guess a can of Tesco value lager is in order!
  • Hang on in there Paul, you'll get there. It's a tough time of year to be dealing with it I know, but keep on keepin' on (as cliche as that sounds! ).

Paul, step away from the catalogue. Do not touch it. Do not even think of touching it.

Have you tried the turn 2 us website? Have you asked your CAB advisor if there is any charities locally that can help out? Have you looked at the Bankruptcy Help sticky for other links?

    As TF says, but also...

Have a really good rummage in the house, there must be stuff you already own which you can sell to help with the fees. My local post office does a roaring trade in advertising cards and is very popular with all the locals! Or, if you can get stuff on eBay in the next few days there's still time to sell and post for Christmas.

I've been decluttering every November for about 5 years now and I still find more stuff to sell each time.

would that be classed as fraud? if you sell goods on knowing you had no intention/couldnt pay for them?
hang in there your get there in the end.
