Made the first of my many packs I bought yesterday, did have enough for 3 4" cakes. but only had 2 tins so the rest of the mis went in fridge to be baked today.

Decorated and handing out as gifts today.

Sainsburys taste the difference Cmas cake bags were £2 last night. Same size cake and same concept as Tesco bag - another option if you can't find Mary Berry locally.

I bought two bags this morning - loads left at Tesco Borehamwood plus the cupcake mix alos.

1st one is cooking at the moment and it smells divine. My tummy is rumbling just smelling it! Very, very easy to make. Let's hope the mazipaning and icing is as easy!

  • Made mine today, it's in the oven right now and I can't look at it til 6.15!!
I found it easy to make, but the mix was so stiff when adding the fruit that my spatula snapped and I ended up using a big metal serving spoon to stir it!

    It's only a game

Made mine today too. A bigish one and two little muffin size ones with the left over mix. Cooked them in little silicone cases for about 1hr 15 and couldn't resist trying one as soon as it wouldn't burn my mouth.

Absolutely gorgeous. Have another bag in the cupboard but will be looking for more tomorrow when I go shopping. So easy and really yummy. Can't guarantee that they will be around long enough to be iced though.

    Thanks again OP

They look so lovely and very professional. Did you have little tins or what did you use to cook them in? I have read that people have used cans but wondered how they lined them and got the cakes out.
