Hi all, i have been lurking about for a while and would love to join you this year. At the start of the year i had a loan with £8206.20 outstanding (inc interest) and a credit card debt of £3501.18.

My target for this year is to clear my credit card and then save to request an early settlement for my loan (whilst still paying the monthly installments of course...), i am planning to include this savings pot as part of my "payments made" for this challenge if that is OK with everyone???

    - so my overall target is £11707.38.

To the 29.02.12 i have "paid off" a total of £2478.68 of my target which is 21% - if i can keep this up i should be able to clear these debts this year.....

    fingers crossed....
    LBM @ 01.01.12 TOTAL DEBT = £13301.77. LH number 320

23rd of the month is a very random day of the month to be paid. Only person I know who gets paid that day is DH, hmmm I wonder if you're at the same company/group?

How strange, I've never heard of/known anyone being paid on the 23rd until I met DH. Maybe the 23rd has become the new end of the month?
