If the government sorted out inflation, then Orange wouldn't have been able to put up the pricing.0

Just had the text as well and I am not happy as I am only 12 months in to the contract.
My contract is 28 per month, but I have a friend/family discount applied. Will it affect the discount I get? Utterly cluecless about this
I reckon the increase will be applied to the tariff before discounts. I can't get at my paperwork at the moment but I think my tariff was actually £38 in full and reduced down to around £23 by all the various discounts for loyalty etc.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have got 6 months left on my contract and really want to cancel, but cant seem to find a way of doing it without paying! I was hoping this price increase would let me cancel but it seems not...
Im in the same boat as you, only 4 months left though ... Orange are rubbish, I get an extremely poor signal in my house and I have been just waiting for the time when I can cancel, when I got the text this morning I thought I would have been able to cancel the contract due to increasing prices within contract period ... seems not
I recall O2 increasing their prices a year or two back and there was a massive thread on HUKD, lots of folk complaining and Im sure they were able to leave their contract, can anyone else recall this?
Orange customer service is attrocious and I for one cant wait to see the back of them, Giff Gaff here I come :beer:0 -
So I took the contract out when I was working, and now I am struggling to afford it since being made redundant, is there nothing that can be done? I signed for £35 p/m not £36.500
