    Hi all

FW-hope your DD had a fab day x

BB- Got everything crossed for you xx

RR - hope DD has a fab birthday x

Sorry anyone who i,ve missed, I really need to get my brain cells sorted!

I,ve noticed a few people saying that they don,t eat Lamb often because of the cost, I don,t know if it helps, but we buy a whole lamb for under £100' if you,ve got the freezer room or a mate to go halves with, it works out a bargin compared to what you pay in supermarkets for a decent joint.

Anyway, plate pie for dinner, made from LO stew, with either mash or HM chips, not sure yet.:D

Have a fab evening all xx

Candygirl - I live near Blackburn and have "enjoyed" many a Sunday keeping my mum company there. Most conversations involved mum saying, "What about this?" and me replying, "It's great if you want to look like you're 70!" :rotfl:

got in and have made OH his fave red lentil lasasgne, as he is still v upset about Gary Speed esp with all the new rumours flying round .God I hate the tabloids:mad::mad::mad::mad:

it is so sad that this relatively young man has taken his life .My niece's husband did this almost three years ago (and the same way) over money worries (he was being threatened by a loan shark) the fall out for his wife and two little girls (6 & 8) was awful and my DN and one of the children is still having councelling even now. its bad enough when its an accident or illness and I feel so much for the family who are left behind.I know how my niece has suffered.its only the little girls that have kept her going I think.
He has no problems now, but the family will be bereft for many years to come
But one never knows until afterwards what sort of breaking point someone has to come to to contemplate this action
a sad time for all his family and friends, I hope the papers will leave them to grieve in peace

beth .......positive vibes heading your way hun x

sistercas Meningitis:eek: Get well wishes for DH x

    Happy birthday Miss RR :bdaycake:

Have caught a cold from DD's BF, so I feel rotten at the moment.
We are going to get the last of the Christmas shopping tomorrow and then it will just be a case of picking up the fresh stuff just before the big day.

Dinner tonight is steak, mushrooms and chips ( I found some lurking in the freezer when I put the new frozen food in today) so that will keep DH happy.

Just had a long chat with MIL on the phone and there is no news on the funeral yet, but she spoke to one of her nephews who reckons it will be this week???? Somehow we don't think so.

    BFN x
