Good morning all. Energiser bunny is back. Up with DH at 0630. Done his pack-up and dinner for tonight in case he doesn't make it home from on-call. Dog fed and waiting for it to be light enough to walk - I have been presented with a ball already. Kitchen is sparkling. Shopping list prepped and printed.
Need to run a hoover round to remove the muddy paw prints from the carpet. A never ending task. Then some paid work.

Good Morning x
Very quiet here today now. Im a bit down this morning as hubby and DD are, as we speak, about to take-off on a trip of a life-time to New York. DD has worked and saved hard and was so disappointed to miss out out on Uni. Hubby just does so much for me and the family and deserves this break so much. I just wish I could have gone with them but I can't fly and would be a hindrance. I have just comfort ate a whole bowl of custard and four chocolates for breakfast - so will try and regain control!!
Julie G - Just turn up at your local hospital and get yourself checked out if you are very worried. Any reduction in movements should be checked asap (without wanting to worry you).

Made a lovely Yorkshire Tea Bread yesterday, scrummy will defnitely make it again and it has no fat in, very impressed and v cheap to make.

It's my DS birthday tomorrow he will be 22:eek: can't believe how quick time passes. Will cook him a special tea tomorrow and he has asked for a chocolate tart. He is doing a photography course and is saving up for a new camera so will give him what we can towards that. Won't be much though. He won't mind he is a good lad:)
Need to do a practice run for the job interview so that I know where I am going and where to park.

Morning everyone. Feeling quite crummy and had a productive sunday so no OS for me today, just revise in bed until my lecture (passing superdrug on the way for some fake berroca) then back to bed afterwards. Looks cold and horrible, OH even had to scrape the car this morning. After all the drama with the battery he doesn't have the right tool and it's too old and grotty to improvise with other tools.
I've got the week off work t use up my holiday, don't have anything planned other than revising though.
lou hope ds gets better asap
juliegeorgina hope it's nothing serious xxLiving cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

Morning All
All well at Chez DG. Very mild here. Been playing setting up my new laptop all weekend. Did pop to Lidl, they have their lean stewing steak on at half price, so bought 4, put in in the SC with a tub of mushrooms which needed using, and have cooked them overnight, so today, will look at either bagging them up for the freezer or making pies.
J-G - How are DSis and the kids holding up.
Lou - Hope DS improves soon
Julie-G - Yes go and get checked out
H-H[/B - you are going to have to stop killing Robins- your luck needs to change - let's hope it is soon.
Today picking DGNeice up from school and taking her down to Matalan to pick a new outfit towards her Xmas gift, will then treat her to a McD or a KFC, yes I agree, but someone has to spoil her, she is a lovely girl.
Talking about taking holidays, DS told me yesterday he only had 9 days to work until Xmas, having more hols than his GF, he had loads left over.
Will strip the bed and get it in the WM, it should get a good blow today :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Take care all, ((hugs)), Spoons, Hi-5's, and positive vibes all round. DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club

Lol, BB at being embarrassed, when I was buying the booze for my wedding, I was in Tesco at 6am & did get a few funny looks.
Good luck to FW's DD.
Well the car is thick with ice, but I have no need to scrape it as I'm walking this morning & hubby has already set off for the bus. DS will let me know later how much a new starter motor will cost & if it's worth it.
Tea for the next 4 nights is prepped & either in the fridge or freezer, tonight is steak & kidney.
Time I finished my cuppa & set off for work, it's only a mile & a half but it's up hill all the way.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

Morning all
Day off work for me today - kids are all at school DH is in bed with a hangover (he really can't handle his drink :rotfl:) have a couple of reports to do that didn't get done yesterday then I need to have a good tidy up while no one is here to mess it up!
Twins are very upset this morning as they received a call from their Dad's Mum to say he is in a bad way and been taken into hospital. By the sound of it she's not expecting him to come out. She's an ex nurse so has a good understanding of these things. They might be almost full grown men but the boys looked very lost and frightened this morning - they were due to go over in 3 weeks to see him so not sure what will happen there now
Anyway Hugs to those that need them - have the best day you can xClimbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

Morning all! Lie in for me today (I'm holiday so it's allowed!) OH still in bed but working later.
Plan for today is give the house a clean and enjoy day time tvdinner is something out the freezer, either pizza or burgers i think.
Decided last night that we'll go to devon next week after OH finishes work on thursday (my birthday) and come home on the sunday. Which gets me out of having to explain why i don't want to go out on my birthday to our friends. Will go down there go on long dog walks and curl up in front of the fire for a little escape.
Have a lovely day all
