My mum is coming with me. Her and my dad are both really struggling with losing Jemma :( hit them very hard as she was their last so they had a lovely day with my kids yesterday, went for a walk and then came had lunch and then back to their to watch Xmas film.

    Hi everyone,

I've not got a lot to report from the weekend. We went Christmas shopping in St Albans because we fancied somewhere new. We were very impressed by the market there.

I'm thrilled with the way my patchwork table mats are turning out, but I'm almost at the quilting stage which I think might be a bit tricky because my machine doesn't seem to like thicker materials.

I sortedout the cards I have left from last year and I don't think I need to buy any new ones, I'll try and buy next year's in the sales - I've never managed to do that in the past.

I hope those of you having a hard time for whatever reason have a good day today.

    Hi again,
Just got back from seeing the Dr. Re the results of my Ultrasound scan that showed the black bit on my kidney is not a kidney stone. The Dr emailed the hosp to make an app for me to go the the Cancer Unit for tests, so I'll just have to wait for the date. Dr said it would be within 2 weeks. :o
Just needed to tell someone other than DH, wont tell the rest of our family as there is no point in worrying them until I have some deffinate news. For those who are on my FB please don't mention it.
Oh well, up and on eh!! :(
  • Morning amm,

Just wanted to pop by and say hello, and dish out hugs. Glad yo hear uolypo.s niece is recovering. :)

Big hugs to you Beth, make sure you are taking it easy, mentally and physically, I shall keep my fingers crossed for you that everything's ok. I suppose the good thing is that you have two kidneys, and so you have a good fighting chance if the worst happens, and it is bad news.......sorry, that sounds a lot clumsier than I mean it to, but hopefully you will see what I mean. Lots of.love. Xx

Beth- I hope everything turns out okay for you x

I've cleaned the living room and kitchen and got bored. So that's housework for today done! OH is still in bed. He's not been able to handle his drink since his birthday! So he's knocking that on the head for a while, as am i. (apart from my brewery trip this weekend!)

Sofa time for the rest of the day!
