HIS MISSUS and CANDYGIRL I actually live in Colne, The traffic gets horrendous, and you can guarantee that the really bad drivers are little old dears heading for Boundary Mill  Saying that, it's not bad for cheap arts and crafts bits and kitchen stuff.
BETH Lots of good vibes coming your way.
I felt pretty chuffed with myself this morning, I had run out of the OatSoSimple porridge I like, but I did have some proper porridge oats that is destined for flapjacks, so I made porridge "properly" for the first time ever. I added sultanas, cinnamon and sugar, so a purist would disagree, but it was very tasty, and much cheaper than buying the packets from a supermarket.
That took all my energy for the day though, I've done nothing at all for the rest of the day.Tea was just Pork loin steaks, frozen chips and a tin of sweetcorn. Almost zero effort:o

Aww flutterby sorry to hear that. What's up with him, has he not grown up yet? You need to start dating real men darling, one who is man enough to handle you, you are gorgeous, intelligent, smart and pretty darned nice to boot, that's a whole lotta woman for a boyman to handle. XXX
Sistercas hope DH gets well quickly.
Redruby you aren'tlucky, she is a product of her upbringing. Like jackieo's daughters, I wouldn't expect anything less when she has such a lovely mum. :A
No change here. Oh went back this morning, we just had hm sausage rolls for dinner, and I am going to make a microwave cake in a mo'
Have a great evening all.

I'll wave to you next time hun;)My best mate was originally from Burnley:D
So am I:D And my Mum, and her Mum and back about 4 generations I think. My Dad was 50% Irish and 50% Plymouth though, and I married a Scot, so at least my kids are slightly more cosmopolitan
