Survived the visit from OH's parents. They weren't too bad actually. Didn't moan for a change and I didn't want to pull my hair out. Maybe they have realised how rude they were being. They got me quite a few presents too. Glad I got them one each now as I usually just get one between them.

OH is going out for drinks after work, so I am trying to get the flat tidy again. Still have to put the airbed away and sort some washing out.

Been looking at cars online. I was thinking about getting a Mini, but you seem to have to add a lot to them to get one with a good spec. My Fiesta currently has all the gadgets for only £200, and I think I would miss them if I got a bog-standard Mini. I can get a 1.6 diesel Fiesta for £400 with a lot added to it, whereas a 1.6 Mini diesel costs £699 and has no extras. I think I will have to stick with a Fiesta again. I will test drive them both though, because 'driving a Mini' is on my 101 list ;).

Off to sort the flat out

Not until the end of April, but I usually start test driving them in January. Gives me time to know how much I need to save too.

You would just love my I.Q.
But it would be too small for you.

Yeah, I quite like the new Ford Ka (hated the older shape) but it's way too small. That's another flaw with the Mini. I can only get a 3 door and it would be tough to get my niece and nephew in the back, and it's really handy if I want to take them out and give my sister/mum a break. Plus my OH is 6ft 4ins tall, so it would be uncomfortable for him too. A Fiesta sized car is the smallest I can go really.

I love Toyotas though, they are brilliant cars.

Having a bit of a mad week. My nephew had to go into hospital for a small operation. He had a problem with his - ahem - nether regions. I won't go into details - it might make any men reading squirm a bit! Anyway, because he had to go to Southampton as he's so small, I've been looking after my niece all week seeing as my sister had to stay with my nephew. Fortunately, he's coming home today. Poor little thing.

Haven't had time to get much done, but all my Christmas shopping is finished and I'm up to £53 in Amazon :D.

Went to the hospital on Monday and my breathing has improved. Started using a mask with my nebuliser, and I find it much better, even if I do sound like Darth Vadar (as my OH says).

Anyway, just a quick update. Got some work to catch up on.
