Gorgeous arroli. Have sewn all blocks together, now need to cut long bits to frame blocks and make quilt top bigger. Then it will be wadding , backing and quilting, Looking good so far. Happy Sewing.

I'd like to attempt one of these bags...

However, it says I need quilt batting??? any idea what this is, is it just wadding? I wondered if one of the quilters on here may know?

Arroli, it is just wadding - you can use one of several types of material depending on how thick you want the quilt to be. I'm going to use an old fleece blanket when my project is ready.

miffy, any chance of some pics? I'd love to see your quilt in progress.

Hi miffy, I'm not an expert myself but I created a flickr account and uploaded them from there. I couldn't seem to upload pictures from my computer directly. Hope you can upload some!
