Just finished watching this. All the participants were inspirational in one way or another.
I agree the couponing would be much harder today.
I liked the little family and their price checking ,I think that is the most like our own experience.
The bigger family could probably have saved just as much by making from scratch and non brand buying and it would likely not take any more time than all that cutting out coupons and travelling to the various shops that will accept them.0 -
I wen back to my local Tesco last Friday and whilst I was putting things through self checkout, I asked the pleasant CS lad manning these tills about Sainsburys vouchers.
He confirmed they no longer do it. When I asked since when, he replied "for about 4 weeks now".
Gutted!0
