Sometimes you have to decide if printing a voucher is worth the ink.

Well I for one feel very sorry for the coupon lady. I hope she hasn't continued reading this thread. I read in one of the dailies that her and her husband, as commited christians, give 10% of their earnings to charity. That was not mentioned was it?

It's normal behaviour for a (male) pheasant to fly out in front of a 4x4; the heroic little fellow thinks he's distracting a predator, and often the only damage is to the head.

they do seem a bit suicidal ! i hit one a few weeks ago although i do think it survived i wouldnt stop to get it to cook, id feel sooooo guilty !!

I watched the program last night 4OD and was amazed by the amount of vouchers that lady had, where did she get them from and she seemed quite obsessed by it, I like to be frugal like people on here and make savings from where I can but I wouldnt serve my children with an unhealthy meal whilst I ate the more healthy one, I would have stretched the healthy one somehow.

I dont agree with the road kill but thats my personal choice, I would have a problem not knowing how old, long it had been there for, but I know some people dont have that problem and I dont mind that.

Overall the program was made for entertainment and probably edited to make good viewing, I feel sorry for the voucher lady as she seemed a lovely caring person who unfortunately came over in a bad light.

That was on tv just before Christmas, and the thread didn't go well as the coupon lady is a member...beware
  • I'm sure there was talk on here before about about a programme that featured some loon that ate roadkill. To my mind the easiest and cheapest way to feed yourself without resorting to those depths is to eat less fresh and clean meat or none at all.

One wonders why butchers spend all that time and effort ensuring there's no cross-contamination between the guts and stomach contents and the flesh, when roadkill is most likely permeated with the filth and bacteria.

Now, if I ran over a deer in my car that would be a million miles away from scraping a flat bunny off the ruddy tarmac.
