I have started a savings account linked to my current account where I am putting extra money through the month ready for my OP. I have added a small amount to it today as I am hoping for an OP of £460 this month, DH and I are going to try and contribute equally. Anyway my rambling is just to say that even if I don't make it to my own total I will finally be posting and OP later this month :j

Simplest way is to look at the 2012 MFW chart.

If the right hand column is red then they've reached/beaten their target. Green means more than 2/3 of the way.

£300 this month. Not our usual amount but have some obscene holiday bills to pay.
Oh well, can't complain, we had a fantastic holiday in China.
I didn't quite meet my target of £20000 by August.
Can I change my target to paying off another £10000 by the end of the year?
    Thanks

  • Hello people! I'm a regular on the gc, and had my own dfd, but now have no debt except mortgage! Can I please join you and have a number?! I'd like to overpay by another £500 by the end of this year.

A bit about myself. I'm a single mum, working with the option of occasional overtime. I bought my house 5 years ago with a 102% mortgage, so I'm stuck with it. I've got it down from £142,600 to £129000 in the last five years, but long for the day it's under 100k!

    Thanks all!

    Morning All,

Sorry but work has been very busy this week and need to run again shortly.

Brilliant chocoholic_chick! You are definitely listed at No.39 on the spreadsheet. (Use the numbers in column A not the numbers auto allocated to rows.) All updated for you.

    Thanks for the update ajmoney.

The advice offered by VoucherMan is the best way to check on achievements Marie27lol. I'm afraid I don't have the fantastic skills demonstrated by FinancialBliss!

Another great OP pammyj now all updated for you.

I've made your target £30000 for the whole year and updated your OP evi3000. Hope this is correct.

Excellent August OP Parnott all updated for you.

Nice to see you PennyGrabber! You can of course join us and your now on the spreadsheet at No.52. Good luck with the challenge.

From the googledoc, your OPs are now up to date glitterball, excellent.

Also curlygirl your last few months OPs are now listed on the spreadsheet, well done.

Finally, newgirly your August OP is updated too, lovely.

Must run and will try to get back on this evening. Otherwise I'll see you all tomorrow.

    Take care,

Question for all the wise people out there... The amount I OP each month varies. Sometimes its £100, other times £50. Basically what ever I can afford.
OH thinks theres no point OPing such a low amount and its prob not doing anything each month.
Is it best to keep OPing monthly, or just save up and OP at the end of the year as a lump sum?
