    First of all:
    Puddle - well done!!!! :D
Choc_chick - welcome. I too was a late starter this year but have been totally caught up in the enthusiasm and encouragement of this thread.

Well, sorry I have been MIA for a few days - damn work - but I'm back and have been transferring monthly money about this morning; #30 OPed £515.33 this morning bringing me down to a lovely round figure and knocking another 2 months off term :)
Hopefully later in the month I'll pay off another £60ish to match the target of being MF by 45 but we'll see how the rest of the month pans out first.

Thank you all for your congratulations, it all feels a bit surreal. I've spent the day logging in and out of internet banking just to reassure myself that the balance really is zero.
Black taxi said it was a life changing moment and for me it really is. After a life time of working in a 24/7/365 NHS job with multiple shifts I'm going to join the normal world, no more working weekends, no more nights, no more bank holiday working, no more 50 plus hour weeks just 2 days a week 9-5. What bliss and without the mortgage no change in my living standards - sadly that world starts tomorrow so a muted celebration tonight.
Keep plodding on peeps - you'll get there sooner than you think

No 43 reporting that I've done it !!!!!! Hope you will all share my excitement - though the champers will have to be virtual at this time of the morning
£18,000 OP'd on line a few minutes ago and the mortgage balance is now a big fat ZERO. All that remains is to pay the closure fee on 1.10 (ERC's apply before then which rather defeats the money saving objective).
Good luck to you all on your own journeys - this morning might have seen the biggest OP I've ever made but I can assure you I made many of 10p or less so keep chipping away. I'll be cheering you all on from the sidelines

Oh, How Fabulously Fantastic, Puddle. That's wonderful news! Well done you! :T:T:T

Enjoy your success....I'm sure you are :rotfl:

    Hello All,

:j:T:beer: WELL DONE PUDDLE!!!!! FANTASTIC! :dance:_party_:j Spreadsheet duly notes your brilliant achievement.:money:

Great OP kandfs mam, all updated for you, it's amazing to see the months drop off.

Another nice milestone passed Malski, all updated for you.

Thanks for the update katiegizmo. I think I've missed an OP for you somewhere as the spreadsheet is short of £125 for the total against your £2945 for the year. Shall I log £125 for August perhaps?

:rotfl: I groaned with you LavenderBees!!! :rotfl:

From the googledoc, you brilliant OP is updated uzubairu. Your July OP took you over your target and now it is truly smashed! Do you want to update your current target?

Also, lovely OP originator which is all updated on the spreadsheet.

Finally, a great OP from you AvidSaver has been logged too.

See you all later or tomorrow.

    Take care,
    Spigs

I don't know if I can include my OP for August in here as I joined end of August-ish, but that was, £2417.97 and an OP today for £1584.38. this would bring my total too; £4001.35. Thank you :).
