Hi Spiggle,
I looked at the MFW spreadsheet to get inspiration from you MFWers and noticed it's showing £0 paid off in August. The calculation in M3 adds up the wrong set of cells.

Good ops everyone! Makes me feel bad, but I make my ops at the end of the month. I get paid on the 23rd, then allocate to all the different pots including oping. Prob only £100 this month, but have managed that every month this year so far! £1200 by year end will make a huge difference to the interest.
I do like the idea of selling stuff to make extra payments. I'm having a big sort out at home, so may put this into action!
Good job everyone

Hello All,
Would love to join this thread! I purchased my first home on the 30th August 2012, I have already set up an over payment of £150 to come out each month starting October 1st! I'm hoping to keep upping this over the years to keep bringing the term of my mortgage down :-) its been very inspiring reading all of your posts! I hope to be mortgage free by 40
Thanks x0
