    Hi Lil,
Birthdays are a good reason to hold off starting a big push. No point starting, having a small break, then going again. That initial push can be quite exciting if you relax into it.

I love my iPhone accounts app. It's got all different accounts listed, current balance, reconciled balance and a total of all balances in one! Brilliant.

Good luck with ebaying. I can't say I love it but I am addicted to getting rid of things and getting a little money too.

A payment an anything is a good start. Once you see those small amounts chipping away I think that will be addictive too!

Which app do you use MT?? I thought the one I was using was good but it doesn't seem to list the transactions properly.

My account is called Account Tracker. There's a free version to try (very limited and doesn't send info over when you go to paid version but definitely worth a look/try). The paid version is £1.99 but it does have 77 ratings at 5 stars and one of those may be mine as it really is easy for me to use.
Picture is of a graph. First line green, little red line then a blue one.
    I hope that helps. xx

I got home yesterday to a letter from the default debt, Moorcroft, confirming that the figure we had decided on is fact! It had even taken the amount off that I paid by DD on 3rd so I'm really happy that I have it in writing and it's all very straightforward. So it's all confirmed. Party on 31st July to celebrate a nice build up of things with LG's exam passes, Lil's birthday and just the fact that so many people are still focussed and heading towards their DF dates.

I did also have another 2 refusals for a credit card. I don't know what's going on with that, but we have a fraud expert here who I have to deal with a lot so I may ask him. I just can't work out why there would be a dodgy credit card request made but still getting sent to my address, as I'd get the card then too, wouldn't I? Or the credit agreement sent before being accepted for the card? It's baffled me a little.

A few more things put on Amazon and eBay last night, so that's keeping the list of sale items up to a nice amount. On Sunday I should be taking lots more photos and I think I'll put up the bits I've been putting off as descriptions need a little more thought.

Today should be another day of no unnecessary spends. I do need to get a few bits of shopping but that shouldn't come to more than £5.

Have a Happy Friday everyone x

Thats good news having it in writing and knowing the figure thats left, must be a relief! Can't wait for the party
God thats weird, can you ask them to investigate it for you?

Well done on the e-baying and amazon-ing lol I'm running out of stuff to sell, its coming slowly to a halt... hmmm

I know what you mean about the £10 a day budget seeming like you have £10 to spend, I think that's where I've been going a bit wrong recently. I need to think of a better way of doing it, might try your new adjustment and get it down to a fiver.

    Happy Friday! X

Just popping in to catch up and say I'm very impressed at you, especially going through all that paperwork! (My particular bugbear).

Odd about the cc refusals... I wonder what's going on?

Have a lovely bonfire with all the completed paperwork. :) Very satisfying as well as secure, and a bonus in that you can't be tempted to keep it 'just in case'! Even I have to admit I very rarely need old papers and it's much easier to find the important stuff when there isn't a tonne of extraneous paper in the way.

    Have a lovely weekend. :)

P.S. £14 is pretty good for a meal out and well worth it for a treat you enjoyed. :)

Well that's another weekend done! It was a really nice one again though, so am feeling very positive.

I went over to see A early yesterday and stayed most of the day. He went on holiday very very early this morning so I didn't stay too long as I wanted to give him a chance to get himself sorted and get an early night in. Plus, I had things I wanted to do. I did have a lovely time with him though and, as usual, he was a great host. So I came home mid afternoon and did a little bit of shopping and got started on my housework as I wanted a good day of uploading things again today.

This morning I've managed to go through lots more places finding more and more books to sell. I have 3 large bookcases filled mostly with books I've never even opened! A large pile of them are now listed on Amazon. I've also taken more pictures of items and have uploaded 6 more things on eBay.

7 things sold this evening on eBay, although for very low prices mostly, but that's a great result. Two of the items are collections so he's sorting that out on Wednesday. Which is great as one of those items has been relisted about 5 times so far.

So a very indulgent day yesterday and productive today! I've had a really heavy headache all day today though. I've drunk a lot more water than I normally do, hoping that would clear it, but I think now I just need to get some sleep and let my eyes rest.

I hope everyone has had a great weekend. x

    Hello Miggy,
No bonfire yet, but am building up that pile of papers, which I'm happy with. Oh my goodness I've got so much stuff/rubbish! x
