Hi Greying - thank you
so delighted and it means that come January I'm starting the new year with a clean slate
.
So today I went shopping with my Mum for birthday presents for my niece and nephew. I spent last night meal planning and then went to Mr Ts to do a big shop but I got lots of store cupboard things - chopped tomatoes, lentils, meat etc etc. So after all that the budget looks a bit battered but my meals are sorted. However as Friday night is take out night with OH then I will probably dip into my money again.

Hi INOD - I do like a treat:) and even though I said the kitchen wasn't a debt it really was and the relief that it now feels that it will be gone soon is great.
I'm going to have a busy day today as I want things neat and tidy before we go into the weekend. I have managed to wash & dry my holiday clothes but everything else was dumped in a heap on the floor:o.
I might also be helping my Uncle dig spuds but his leg is playing up so he said he would let me know.
It is also nephew no 1s birthday today and I've got him a gaelic top and I think his Mum is getting a caterpillar cake for tonight.
Plans today
- Iron clothes mountain:(
- Clean bathroom
- Hoover hall & living room
- Tidy up bedroom.
- Order belt for dryer.

Morning all
Ok the only thing I didn't do yesterday was order the belt for the dryer but apart from that I had a good day and my house is back in shape for at least a few hours:).
I did spend money yesterday and it means I'm now down to the wire before pay day on Wed. I did get a text from RBS to say that they had my confirmation slip and the PPI payment will be in my account by 20 Nov:D.
No digging spuds yesterday as Uncle is still hobbling but I know it is in front of me. Today I'm helping OH put down some concrete - ok it could be hindering but I will give it a go.

Morning all
Back to work yesterday and walked into a storm of bad feeling and silliness. I wish I was someone who could ignore it and not let it annoy me but that isn't me. Most of us spend so much time in work you would think you would try to make it pleasant but nope there is a small group of nasties who delight in making it bad for everyone. OK rant over:).
I also went for a mammogram yesterday...fun:). Thankfully I don't have any concerns and should get my results in a few weeks but Action cancer offer mammograms once you turn 40 and I decided to make an appointment. They gave me a donation envelope when I was leaving but I would prefer to set up a regular direct debit as it such a worthwhile cause. I need to have a nosy into that.
Confession time... I went to Slimming world:o. Maybe I'm being foolish with my past history but I feel good I have a hang of this structured eating malarky but I know that I hate having the extra weight on. I have to be careful that I don't become obsessed or fall into any of my old behaviours. I have 20lb to lose which I would like to have gone by next summer when I dust off the swimsuit again.
Finally it is payday tomorrow:D... it has been a long month and I have a few coppers and moths floating around my purse.
I'm working close to home today so taking it nice and easy this morning. Have a good day everyone.0 -

Hi INOD & DFOD, thank you - I heard the Action cancer advert on the radio so decided to go for it. I met a young family on the way out and the child had cancer so it made me appreciate that I have my health.
OK so tomorrow is payday -woo hoo and this is the last month of paying into our Xmas savings until the end of Jan - where has the year gone? I use these savings obviously for Xmas but also my MOT is due in December so that will also help pay for it and any work needed on my car.
I have pennies left in my purse which is a bit annoying as I ideally didn't want to touch my pay until the 1st but we are where we are as my boss always says:).
Budget (Nov)
Credit card - .....£xx/£200 (diesel)
Everything- .......£xx/£400

I got paid today and didn't want to touch my money until the 1st either, but the !!!!!!! Christmas budget is already over :rotfl:
On a more serious note, be very wary of joining a slimming group with your past history. I haven't had eating disorders as such in the past but I've been a member of a Fat Club, and it's VERY easy to find yourself thinking about food entirely the wrong way. Just be careful, we care about you here ♥0
