I didn't realise you had a diary!

Munchin - I've kept on meaning to drop in to say bravo! on how much DIY you've achieved this week - so Bravo!
I so hear you about the tiles on the wall. I remember that in our kitchen. And we've soon to repeat the trick in the bathroom. I just know that despite the fact that everything else in or on the house falls off at the drop of a hat, those tiles are going to be glued with a type of superglue hitherto unknown to mankind *sigh*
Anyway, keep going - you're doing fab!

Morning all
Moomin - thank you for dropping by:) - I thought I saw some tablet crumbs in the corner.:D
Greying - thank you for reading. The problem with DIY is that once 1 room is done you realise that all the other rooms need decorating as well. I was at my Aunts on Tues having coffee and her whole kitchen is tiled and I've never paid much attention but on Tues all I could think about was how easy would her tiles come of - yes obsessive I know:D. Also the light switch (pull cord) in the bathroom has broken, so will have to go find a relative to fix that.
My sister in law was telling me that I should put clingfilm in the bottom of the paint tray and it would save on the washing - she was so right. I don't mind decorating it is the cleaning up after that I have a problem with.
Ok so today I'm going to finish the bathroom and then tidy the house from top to bottom. In the afternoon I am going to tackle my wardrobe again. I was reading about putting your clothes in colour order and as you wear each piece you hang it up at the end of the rail and you can't wear it until you have worn the things in front (I hope that makes sense). One thing I want to do this year is wear brighter colours I have a sneaking suspicion that if I put my clothes in colour order it would be grey...grey... black and maybe a bit of green:o.
Ok time for tea and toast:)

Hi, just stumbled across your diary and have read from the start. Like you, I'm in NI and like you wouldn't want to be identified. You've made real inroads since you've started posting. I'm subscribing as the good news stories motivate me. Just one question though, are you sure there's no navy lurking among the blacks and greys?Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Hi INOD - I've just popped over and subscribed to your diary. I brought some hobnobs which is why there are crumbs in the corner of your diary:D. I didn't find any navy!!! but I did find 3 white shirts - I thought I had only the one:o
I popped to town today to try and rectify the grey, black wardrobe situation. I reckon I'm a size 12 now but I tried on a 12 in Dorothy perkins but the 10 would have been a better fit. I tried on a 12 in Next and it was fine (a wee bit of room for comfort). I went to Primark and ended up having to try on a blouse in a size 16. I ended up buying a torquoise cardigan in New look in a size 12. So today I have been size 10, 12 & 16 all within the space of an hour:D.
I also noticed that the 2 travel agents in town were absolutely bunged and I can't blame them as it is lashing a gale here. I promised to give sister a lift tonight and I would rather relax in front of a warm fire.
My favourite shoe shop in the world had a 50% sale on when I walked past it. I had to go in just to covet the shoes but I left empty handed as my knee would have yelled a protest immediately.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Hi all
I can't believe we are in Feb:) but I'm glad pay day has arrived.
I had a lovely day today - I was marshalling at a running event and even though it was lashing from the heavens and we were being blown sideways - I loved every minute of it. I love cheering the runners on especially those plodding at the back (my normal position:)).
I spent last night playing darts with OH - I haven't played since I was a kid and it showed but what are a few extra holes in the wall between friends:o.
On the money front I had to tweak my budget a wee bit as I've put some extra money into savings.
I started creeping back into binge territory and I pulled myself out off that path. I'm now watching the big foot programme and catching up with diaries.
