Evening all
Well I'm alive after a very festive Xmas party:D. I drank enough to be happy but not enough to regret the evening. I danced quite a bit and just had a great time. Oh went too and was grand even though he didn't know anyone. I didn't spend any money as OH bought me a couple of drinks.
Spends yesterday £20 on a wash, cut & dry at the hairdressers. I hated the style she did it in for the party but what can you say once it was done. I went home and washed it and did it myself. I also spent £20 on my sisters graduation present. I totally forgot that it would be appropriate to buy her something. I also spent £2.60 on coffees for me and mum as we both had 1/2 hour to kill before getting our hairs done.:o
I spent £6 on charity cards for work and I spent £11.50 in M&S on a slip for under my dress. So in total I spent £54.10
I have £150 left to the end of the month. Future months this money will be used to pay extra to credit card and car loan but this month it's being used to help me make it to end of the month. I get paid early on the 21st and I always say that I won't touch this money until it's supposed to be in my account but unfortunately I've never managed it:o. So this is my Desperate budget:D
Out of this money I have to pay for the costs of being in England and the carparking while I'm away - £18:eek: and whatever spends there are next weekend and over Xmas. I have to stick to this budget as there is no other money easily accessible.
Update on budgets -
Groceries - £[STRIKE]80[/STRIKE]/£-4.51
Entertainment - £[STRIKE]60[/STRIKE]/£0
Clothes £[STRIKE]50[/STRIKE]/£-5.34
Christmas - £[STRIKE]300[/STRIKE]/-£0
Emergency budget - £150
I also sold my dress and shoes on ebay for £6.95:T
I might not get a chance to check in until Friday. Have a great week everyone

Hi all
Spends today £4.22 on postage for ebay parcels and £1.25 Diet coke for nephews.
I'm annoyed with our MOT centre:mad:. I had rung them as I thought my MOT was due in June. My car was registered in GB but the MOT person said that I should ignore the GB test and wait for an invitation from them. He was snotty, anyhow I e-mailed today as I'm sure the MOT is due. Guess what I was right it was due in June:mad: So that's £30.50 that I didn't expect.
I'm due to catch my flight tomorrow at 11 and I've not even packed:D
I will be back on Friday and will chat then. 3 days out of work:T0 -
I phones are great. I can update. In lovely England, flight was a tad hairy scary:eek:
Ok spends so far-
£3.80 on 2 coffees at airport
£1.55 on papers
£7.95 on lunch
Not sure what we're doing for dinner. Tomorrow we're out for posh dinner:D

Morning all, tired very tired. My sister lives beside a v v busy road. I was woken by a lorry at 5.45am. Sis is used to it buy I'm not:(
Forgot to mention yesterday that I booked MOT for Monday morning- £30.50. I put it on the cash back card and now need to get OH to check car.
More spends yesterday:o -
£20 for dinner (wine & my mum's share);
£10 in Mr Ts (contribution to sister's shopping).
Total: too much:D

So my budget looks like this -
Total spends £42.75
Emergency budget - £150/£107.25
I have lunch and dinner out today. Hopefully it shouldn't be too bad as long as everyone contributes:o

Morning all
Yesterday was fantastic, went to graduation then dinner all paid by sister's hubby:j
I spent £5.50 on a bus ticket and a trip round the Xmas market.
Today is a trip out to the shops then lunch then catching our flight. Sis is coming home for new year.
Tomorrow is work in morning then hospital appt, then the weekend starts:D

Evening everyone,
Well we're home and it's freezing:D I had a fantastic break but happy to be home.
The hospital rang this morning and cancelled my appt:mad: which is a bit late in the day. I'm going to take a 1/2 day tomorrow anyway as it's in my head.
Spends today -
£10 lunch contribution
£5 odds and sods at airport
£18 carparking fees.
Total -£33.
Total spends in England - £81.80 (i had hoped to be £80 or less so quite pleased that I wasn't way over budget:))
So that leaves me -
Emergency budget - [STRIKE]£150[/STRIKE]/£68.20. Hairy scary but achievable.
I'm out Saturday night but will limit the drinks. I have all my Xmas pressies bought. 1 of OH presents has got lost by Royal Mail and they are searching for it. Thank goodness it was sent recorded delivery.
Nice to be home.

Morning all,
I was out last night with friends for my birthday:D. It's not my birthday until Thursday but another friend was also having her birthday so we combined the two. I was home for midnight which I'm pretty sure is when most people are only starting their partying but OH had to work today and needed to be home. OH is still in bed as he has now rung in sick:o. I only spent £6 last night so my budget is still alive (it may be on life support but it's clinging on:D).
Yesterday was the Rudolph race for charity and it was great to meet up with running buddies. I got a box of chocolates:T which are now sitting under the tree.
I have plans to go shopping with my Mum today as she has no idea what to buy anyone but also gets flustered with shop assistants as the older she has got the harder it is for her to hear and her confidence is low.
Ok today I'm going to try to do intuitive eating. I've been doing structured eating since the beginning of Sept and because Xmas is here and it's hard to stay structured I think it's time to give intuitive eating ago. If it doesn't work it's back to structured. If I hadn't messed up my body and head with bulimia then I would know how to eat properly like a normal person:o
Update on budgets -
Groceries - £80/£-4.51
Entertainment - £60/£0
Clothes £50/£-5.34
Christmas - £300/-£0
Emergency budget - £[STRIKE]150[/STRIKE]/£54.41
Payday on Wed, I'm trying to make the money stretch until the day my pay would normally be due (27th Dec) but that is looking less and less likely.
In taxi on way home last night the taxi driver said my road is like an ice rink. So heading home now from OHs and it could be very interesting:o
Speak to you all later and have a lovely day.

Back in the house and not venturing out unless OH drives. Roads are treacherous with black ice. I had to go pick my Mum up for mass and our road was awful, on the way back down again my cousin's car slid into the ditch and then shot across the road in front of me:eek:. I could see that he was all right but I couldn't stop as it was on a dangerous hill. Mum has cancelled the shopping trip as it's too dangerous to venture anywhere at the minute.
Spends - £5.68 (papers, milk, fire lighters.)
I've been sitting calculating the spends for next year. i think my general spends will stay the same but after January more money will have to be fired at the credit card as it is only 9 months interest free.
I also have to pay out £114 for car tax by the end of this month and I have my MOT tomorrow. Hopefully my car will pass and that will save me some money.
My car insurance was £472 last year and I expect to pay similar come March/April time.
This week I'm aiming for 3 NSDs on Mon, Tues & Wed - fingers crossed.:D
