Hi Lam2011, BTD and inthegreen, thank you for reading and your lovely posts.
inthegreen - my oil is so high because I live in N Ireland so everything is so much dearer (well that's how it feels). I moved home from London years ago and couldn't believe how much we pay for car insurance and everything else overhere.
Also my Mum is retired and is at home every day with at least 1 nephew and she feels the cold. I live at home but I pay for everything:D
Just over 8 hours ago I said that I didn't have much left to put on e-bay. Famous last words:o. I just tried on my party dress that I haven't worn in 2 years and was always slightly snug on the bust. It fits.......however can't see over the top of my squished boobs:rotfl: My sister said how funny it looked that my boobs are definitely bigger but waist is slimmer. (my body is angry at me for treating it badly for so long so is playing silly beggars). Anyway I now have a black dress to put on e-bay and I need to hunt out something for the Xmas party. At this rate no one is going to get any pressies as I will have spent all my money on myself:D

Hi all, I had another wee think about my oil budget last night and I've decided to reduce this to £60 per month. I have just put 1000 litres in the tank last month and this should do us well into the New Year.
I keep jiggling my budgets and I'm now pretty set on what i can spend. To be honest if i wasn't going to England to see my sister this would save me a bit but she's a frugal munchin as well, so it shouldn't be too expensive. It's worth every penny to see her graduating, it's taken her a while to decide on her career but she's graduating as a nurse which is an amazing worthwhile profession.
I had a nosy last night in my cosmetic bag and also my toiletries. I'm pretty well stocked on most things so will try to use everything up before restocking. I buy curls rock serum for my hair and the cheapest I could find it for is £7.75 (it usually sells for £12:eek:). If anyone saw Stefanie Powers in I'm a celebrity - well her hair is nothing compared to mine.:D I probably won't need any until the New Year. I might need deodorant but other than that I should be nice and smelly until after Xmas.
On my money acquired front, I just checked Amazon and have put in a request for my earnings which stand at a whole £7.94:D. I have found my latest tesco vouchers which are at £4.50. I've checked the piggy bank and I have £22 in it of £2 coins. Total £34.44.
I need to tootle across and see when the next free listing for ebay is. I think I missed one last weekend.:o
Another day of no spending - I think I'm on a roll:):). i'm getting a bit fed up with cheese and pickle sarnies so will have to have a good think tonight and see what I can make.
OH told me what he wants from B&Q and it's only £40 - the way he had talked about it I thought it was £140.
I joined the 100 day challenge and hope to pay off £1800 by the beginning of March. My salary went into my bank yesterday and I'm waiting for the first repayments of Dec to go out - it's a bit sad to be this excited:D
Anyway that's my update for today and I hope everyone had a good day as well.

Hi all, I'm up late tonight. I've been trying to sleep but have given up. My stomach is playing up and has been since dinner time. I overate at dinner and my stomach is letting me know about it. I now know that these things are part and parcel of recovery but it aint pleasant:o.
Anyhow on to more MSE things. I now need an outfit for the Xmas dinner as I've morphed into Dolly Parton and my other little black dress is given up on me. I also needa fab pair of heels to complete my outfit. I've spotted a dress in Dotty's ps at £38 and a pair of killer heels for £32.98 (includes postage). Total - £70.98
The challenge is to make these cost neutral (assuming I love them when I try them). So to do this I need to sell things and make extra money. I've just sent off my old mobile to Mazuma mobile and hopefully they will pay me £45 quid for it (the screen is cracked but still working so fingers crossed). I've just requested £7.94 from Amazon in sales. So I need to find £18.04 otherwise this comes out of my clothing budget. It looks like I'll be busy on e-bay this weekend.:D
I also have saved money on shoes as I saw them on the Very website for £60 and ebay have same shoes for 1/2 the price. I know why i'm in debt - I can justify any spends:o
This is my first go at placing a link so hopefully it will work.

just had a quick recap of my diary and realised that I was offsetting my staff drinks money with the sale of the mobile. Never fear Sky have confirmed my subscription on top cash back and I'm just waiting for the payment.
So mobile is paying for shoes of wonder and Sky is partly paying for drinks. Juggle juggle juggle:D0 -
Morning all, Ooooh I feel like I've gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. I'm a girl who needs her sleep and it was sadly lacking last night
Right I need to get up and face the world. To destroy Scarlett's quote but "today is another day".
Plans today -
[*]NSD all the way
[*]make lunch
[*]babysit nephew no 2 this evening.
[*]maybe get home early (it could happen):rotfl:

Hi all
I've just ordered 2 dresses from Dorothy Perkins for next Sat. I'm not counting them as spends until I decide which one I want to keep. They both had 20% of today and I found a code for an additional 15% of. I couldn't find a free delivery code so had to pay £4. One dress after discount is £19.12 and the other is £25.84. Hopefully 1 of them will do the job but guaranteed it will be the more expensive one. The dress will be out of this months clothing budget but not declaring a spend until I decide which one I want to keep.:p
All but 1 of my staff are here and accounted for - which is pretty good for a strike day. We only had a couple of people picketing for an hour this morning but they've moved on. I did go up and offer them tea and coffee, as it's bloody freezing here.
My tummy is still tender but everyday I'm that little bit closer to perfect health. Today is day 80 of being bulimia free and I get happier every day. I hope after day 100 (21st Dec) it will feel more natural and I won't have to work at it as much.
Speak soon

This diary is so addictive
Well I broke the NSD streak I've had going this week with my contributions in work. £2 to work lottery which covers the month and £2.00 to Avon which I had totally forgotten about. I also need to stop and pick up a packet of bikkies for a work meeting tomorrow but I will do that in the morning.0 -
hi munchkin (this is how i read it aswell lol).. will enjoy reading your debt free journey x0
-
Hi Cherryjack thanks for reading
I'll be honest and say that I had originally meant to type munchkin but missed the K and ended up with munchin
but then I thought that with the problems I have it was actually quite apt
So you know the way I said that I'd missed an NSD today, well....... stand back from the diary for I have spent:D. Actually OH rang me in work to tell me that he had decided on his B&q pressie £45. I new he also wanted a sat nav so I got him that as well. Total £125.50 and I've already got him aftershave at £24. So that's £149.50 for OH & I've spent £79.75 on works Xmas drinks so i've £70.95 left in this budget.
So still to buy for Xmas -
- sweets for nieces/nephews - £15
- beauticians before Xmas - £16
- odds & Sods - £20
I've just ordered my shoes of wonder (it will be a wonder if I can walk in them when they arrive :rotfl:). My money from mazuma mobile should cover this.
Sky topcashback payment is a pain. It says that the expected date of payment is Feb!!!! However the nice people at Sky e-mailed to say my £100 M&S voucher is on it's way. I know my Mum has her eye on it but it ain't happening, well maybe some of it as i know she wants a winter coat and I would like some new pjs.
Tomorrow I have to buy biscuits & milk for a meeting I'm not even part of and the paper (trying to limit paper buying to thurs & sunday now). I'm also taking N&Ns to bowling.
I'm boiling the kettle for my hot water bottle. Going to have an early night. I have a chesty cold but it hasn't knocked me off my feet yet and I'm not going to let it:)
Have a good evening all debt busters:)
