    Hi all

Yeah I'm on leave Thurs & Fri:j so going to make the most of my 2 days extra - so plans are
    • clear out shed (huge dirty job)
    • cut hedge
    • poison weeds (another crappy task)
    • do an inventory on all my products (hair serum etc)

I think that will do me for the next 2 days. I would like to get the kitchen walls washed but I have a bit more leave at the end of the month and I will do it then.

I've just read a book on ED recovery which is to do with binges. Basically I'm still struggling with binges which are nowhere near as bad as they used to be but they are still there. The plan is that if i recognise the binge urge I need to realise that it is just a habit and if I resist each time it will get easier and easier. Sounds straight forward enough but these things never are :o. I am almost 10 months purge free and hopefully by Xmas I will be binge free.

So I need to get cracking tomorrow as I hope to get most of my tasks done so that I can take it easier over the weekend

    Morning all

It's such a beautiful morning and that is a recipe for a good day:D

Soooo I managed to get most of my list done on Thurs/Friday.

    • [STRIKE]clear out shed (huge dirty job)[/STRIKE] - I was coal dust from head to toe:). A lot of the junk was from my brothers who used the shed as a communal dumping ground:mad:. So I have number 2 brother conscripted in to take it all to the dump with me this morning.
    • [STRIKE]cut hedge[/STRIKE] - it isn't straight but it's cut:D
    • [STRIKE]poison weeds (another crappy task)[/STRIKE] - done but I need another dry day in a week or 2 to go over the weeds again.
    • do an inventory on all my products (hair serum etc) - will do this today.
Yesterday the guy from NIE came out and checked Mum's paperwork to see if she was entitled to a grant for home insulation and she qualifies :T. He drilled into the walls of our house as Mum thought it was partially insulated when it was built and there is no insulation at all. No wonder the walls go black in the winter:o and then have to be washed down. So we're getting the loft insulated and cavity wall insulation and he left 4 energy saving lightbulbs:D. I know we need a new kitchen door but I will leave that for another few months to see how much savings I have left over.

My cousin's husband is looking at bulk buying coal and wanted to know if I was interested. If he gets it for a good price I might be. Can you tell that I'm fully into preparing for winter mode.:o

I managed another run yesterday and got to 3.5 miles before the knee pain came on which is an improvement. My feet go numb after a few miles and I think I have figgered out why. Old old old old running socks.

Today I'm going to go to the dump, then my pilates class and then do my room inventory.

I hope everyone has a lovely day and enjoys the weather.

    Oh I am shattered:)

I got brother to drive me to the dump so that is the shed finished. I then spent ages putting my room into order and trying to be ruthless with the carp I don't need.

I then had to clean the living room, kitchen and spare room as I have managed to find some motivation and make the use of it.

Whatever energy I had left was used on the wii with my 5 year old nephew dancing to Michael Jackson. I have no coordination.

OH is decorating the house so I left him to it.

I've done my beauty products inventory and although I have tons of cotton pads for make up removal!!!! I am down to my last can of mousse and hair serum. I have curly hair which really frizzes without a ton of product on it. I look like the guy from the hairbear bunch. I'm fine with deordorants/make up etc.

I need to hit the shower and the next 30 mins I shall put my feet up.

    Morning MSE world :),

I think I'm dosed with the cold -
    • sore throat - check
    • sore ears - check
    • feel hot n achy - check:(
Oh well I'm not dying so this will pass:).

I've been reading another thread about breaking your debts into 1% chunks and paying them off that way. I've worked out previously that my debt is sitting at £2975 and after the usual monthly normal payments going out I need another £1100 which is separate to the monthly payments if you know what I mean:). So it's the £1100 that I'm breaking down to 1% so that equates to 100 x £11. Now I need to figure out how to find these extra 1%:o. I've tried surveys but I never make it that far with them before they chuck me out. I've e-bayed most of what I own already and most of my books I've sold. I know I have other bits I could sell so I'll go through my stuff and see when the next free listing on ebay is. I've a tin of £2 coins which feels quite hefty so I'll open that this week and put it towards the debt.

Plans today - we're off to the Door store to look at door handles and then DFS as OH needs a new sofa. We've chosen the one we want but now with the room renovated we don't think it will fit in the room.

I think the good weather has scarpered but it was nice while it lasted:D

Tomorrow I'm working close to home and it should be an early day. I think I'm going to stop at pound shop and buy deicer n stuff for car boot. I'm still on my preparing for winter thread as well as paying my debts so there is a slight money conflict going on:o.

    Have a lovely day everyone.

I've just snuck on to 'Preparing for winter' thread and this is the list I've borrowed for my winter car box -

    Ice de-icer spray
    ice scraper
    - already got one
    torch and batteries -
    gloves/hat/scarf -
    already got one

Also, plastic mats in case of snow to keep floor dry.

The list also has other useful things but I don't think they are necessary for me as I'll never be that far from help. They also suggest putting in a cereal/chocolate bar in the box but I would have them ate in a non emergency situation:o.

    Hi all

Home early which is great. I cracked open the £2 coin tin and there was £270 in it!!!!!!!!:D My Mum & OH have been contributing to it as well. My Mum took the money to her bank and I've used her debit card to make a payment to my Mr T card. I've paid £220 to my credit card and the other £50 is in the holiday fund. So that equates to 20% of my 1% challenge. It's a big start but I really don't know where the rest is going to come from.

I managed to avoid the shops today (except for diesel) and I got home and Mum has 2 cakes in the oven:D. My willpower is of duty today.

    Hi all

Not much craic in Munchin land at the minute:). I'm heading out this weekend and it looks like I don't have to drag OH kicking and screaming.:D

I have an invitation to my nieces birthday in a few weeks and I've got £60 of travelling expenses coming my way.

Still struggling with the odd binge here and here. Not as bad as before but I've put on a stone & 1/2 in weight and although I should be happy I've recovered from an ED I hate the feeling that my clothes are too tight and my thighs are rubbing together. Something I need to work through.

    Oh it's a pondering night for me:o

    Morning MSE world

After last nights post about struggling with my bingeing I'm now launching myself fully into intuitive eating. I love a good challenge and I've done well with the challenges on here so I'm going to try and keep this diary up to date with how intuitive eating is going. The reason I'm writing it on here is to try to kick myself up the !!!! to say that I can't start again tomorrow. Each day is a day by itself and I have to manage my eating properly. Like anything there will be slip ups along the way but hopefully by Xmas I will have a hang of this thing. I've been Bulimia free since 11 Sept last year (over 11 months:j) now I just have to cut out the binges.

So today is Day 1 (I know this is a life long thing but I hope after 30 days it will start to come naturally).

I'm heading out the door to work, I've not ate anything yet as I stuffed myself like a little pig last night and I'm still not hungry. However I have food with me which I will eat when ready. So no foods are of limit but I have to remember to quit eating before I pop:o

I'm going to pack my sports bag so that I can stop at Pilates on way home.

Money front - 15 days to pay day and only 1 birthday pressie to buy this month. I think Sept is the only month I don't have any nephews/nieces birthdays to buy for ( I have 10 of the little blighters:))

    Have a good day everyone.

    Day 2:D

Yesterday was fine. I wasn't really hungry at all yesterday but that is probably just because I struggle to recognise hunger/fullness. Anyway today is day 2 and it's time to head to work. I need to work on slowing down my eating as I've just rushed my breakfast to get on here before work:o

I've printed off another one of those 100 grid charts hoping that it will keep me motivated. I'm using one for the 1% challenge.

I'm taking the nephews swimming tonight and that is the only extra plans for today.

OH is working over the weekend so I now have Saturday all to myself
