Standard coffees (Americana\Lungo\Expressso etc.) come in 16's (you add your own milk.
Milky Coffees and drinks (Latte/Cappuccino/Mocha/Chocco etc.) come with 8 coffee/choc and 8 milk pods.0 -

And my friend made my day this morning
he has a dolce gusto machine and re fills the cartridges! theres a video on you tube (granted its in german or something) but it shows you how to do it
you cut the bottom of one cartridge and empty it, refill with ground beans, then use another pod and cut it in half, empty it out and use the little black bit at the bottom and a piece of tin foil cut into a circle shape pop it over the black bit and then pop the coffee filled one into the one with the foil in it. make sure the hole lines up so that you only get one hole in the foil lid and voila see here it will make more sense http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_ilDmXSgbc
i tried it this afternoon and it works like a dream, he said that once you've done it all you need is the piece of tin foil and just use the modified cartridge to refill!
im going to have a go at refilling the milk but i might just buy the milk pod packs off amazon or ebay. saves buying expensive pods for the coffee i suppose
good luck it worked for me and takes less than 5 mins

Thanks for this, I will have a look at the youtube video and see how easy it is to do.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

Couldn't for the life of me follow the instructions, anyone got instructions in simple English? Watched the video and wrote down notes to follow.
Cut the pods etc, but where does the foil go, and how do you line up the original hole in the top of the pod when you keep reusing it - mine just seemed to make a new set of holes however carefully i lined it up!0 -
Help Please.
Does anyone know if you can use Dualit pods with the dolce machine? Tia in advance for your replies. XXX0 -
Seems to be oss now in black and ivory but still available in red.0

To line it up take a knife and use the straight edge put it against the center of the hole, line this up with the center of the pod holder
