just as long as they don't start singing:DIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

I agree with Memory Girl that the only humane trap is the old-fashioned snap kind.
I had a mouse recently. Came downstairs for my book at 3am and there he was poking out from under the TV. Of course he popped back underneath, but then popped out again to look at me, to make sure, this intruder in HIS house? How dare I?
I got out the traps and baited them with chocolate drops (yes, mice like chocolate; it's cat's that like cheese).
But this was a smart little blighter; twice he got away with the chocolate without snapping the trap. I ended up GLUEING the chocolate drop to the trap.
Sorry, little chap.0 -
My DH has been blocking up a few gaps in our fence. The neighbour apparently keeps his supply of birdfood and peanuts in his shed and I'm sure the !!!!!!s have bred in there, like there's no tomorrow and then, they are coming into our garden from his.
:mad::mad::mad:
They run around and jump on our patio outside and I can see them whilst I'm sat on our sofa. If one got inside our front room, I would just die.
:eek::eek::eek:
We'll see if this makes a difference.;);)
Felines are my favourite

I couldn't kill it. Although if I got any more I might change my mind!
Anyway, it's released 6 miles from my home so I'm hoping their homing instinct doesn't work for hitch hiking! :eek: In nice countryside, it will probably get eaten by a predator now.
The worst part was the droppings...an awful lot in the trap for such a small mouse and who didn't appear to eat the peanut butter; I am going to have to disinfect my room. :eek:
A busy 2 days, with DD, meetings and more meetings although productive this time and reassuring. They seem to have accepted the dog now and the support worker who was the most difficult about that issue, is moving on. Totally exhausted however, and happy to go to bed tonight.
Just having a coffee with added Baileys, yum.
Parson's wife, my phobia is (are?) spiders. If it had been a spider under the bed you wouldn't have seen me for dust. The mice do climb very well, so hope it works blocking the fence. I have a trap going cheap!:rotfl:
Warbaby, I couldn't put chocolate down, it's against my belief system.:D
Stiltwalker, the soaps ARE gorgeous aren't they? I love the meeces, they remind me of Christmas as a child and my mother would always put a sugar mouse in my stocking, but of course all that sugar is not good, so the soaps are ideal. So cute.0 -
Oh Mardy they are gorgeous your making me all inspired! Just as well as I got a box of goodies at the beginning of the week, some M&P soap base, some M&P solid shampoo base (for a play) and some beeswax and diddy pots for lip balms and a couple of new sniffs, I already have tons of bicarb, citric and shea butter so me thinks a play may be coming up this weekend.0

The little horrors are incontinent, they just poo and pee wherever they go and you can catch a very nasty virus from them (hantavirus). I don't know why some people think they are cute, to me they are just small rats
I'm talking about the real ones not the meece - those ARE cuteIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -

Mardy - what a gorgeous selection. The Meeces really do look good enough to eat.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Owl - left over from the days when I had a Goth soap site, I have a gorgeous wee rattus rattus mould which looks rather fetching in black with red eyes:rotfl::rotfl:0
