Mar they look lovely! i'm still pottering on with my etsy store but its gone pretty quiet. However, my hours at work go back to normal in august, so should have more time to make things.

    Hope they sell well

Heads up! Approved Food are doing a £5.25 discount on delivery until midnight tonight if you order over £35 and your goods weigh less than 50kg.

I've just ordered a shed load of oatcakes and looroll. Just thought you'd like to know that! :rotfl:

I've resorted to switching the fire on because I was so cold. :(

I suspect if I order ANYTHING I will need a SHED myself!!!
But I shall have a peek. We are eating really well off approved foods at the moment.

Got to admit I have never found anything worth buying from Approved foods as I have always found what they are selling I can buy at B&M for very often less and no delivery charge and as they are only a couple of miles away petrol doesn't cost much. I keep looking in the hope there will be something but as yet nope

I know what you mean, as a lot of what they sell I wouldn't class as food! However I don't have a car, so buying loo roll from them when it's a decent price and getting it delivered for nothing in this case is a big help to me. Also I can't eat a lot of bread so any kind of cracker on special offer is usually a good deal for me. Buying them in bulk from approved food means I don't have to cycle three miles to the health food shop, or that when I do, I can buy other stuff. I guess it all depends on circumstances. I only buy what I would otherwise buy elsewhere, otherwise there would be no savings (and far higher dental bills from the amount of sweets they sell!!).

Mind you I dread to think how big a box full of 90 loo rolls will be .... :rotfl:

ETA Fire now off again because a combination of dog and young person constantly going through doors and not shutting them means it is a waste of fuel and money to keep it on ...... grrr!

And another edit - they are selling PECTIN SACHETS so surely that would be worth a peek? Cheap pectin and free delivery? They don't specify a minimum amount you have to spend.

I know we are lucky to have the car now - we have had it 6 years now ( hubby was a taxi driver for years so we used that then he went to a proper job- delivery driver and so for 8 years we didn't have a car). When I eventually got my DLA we used that to buy the car, if that goes I doubt we will still be able to keep car even though its paid for now thankfully. We I admit had to use taxis once every few weeks for the shopping. Its having its MOT next Wednesday and we are waiting to see if anything needs doing to it. Its 7 years old now and we know each year it has more chance of needing things done to it. Daren't take the chance of using my money to buy another one with all the changes going on in case I don't get it again.

    :D Success!

I came home, wondering what I would find, if anything...1) a mouse? 2) mice? 3) Nothing...

At first I thought no luck, then spotted the mice droppings in the cage thing...aha I thought, now where's the mouse? Suddenly, it came out of the hidden parts where it originally entered, totally stressed poor thing, and looks a bit wild. So, I'm going to check on some bunnies out in the countryside, miles from here, and will release it. It didn't seem overly fussed about the peanut butter though.

Huge relief. :T:T Thanks for all the mousy advice! And funny stories and YouTube! :rotfl:
