Afternoon peeps
Yes its "D" day AKA DOGGIE DAY :j:j:j
As soon as the kids are home from school we are off to fetch him:D
Today is going soooooooooo slow.
DH (who did not want a dog) has rang up to see how his op went (big softie) apparently the vet could only find one doofer so he has only had one snipped  apparently this causes him no problems.
I have thought we could call him oddball :rotfl:
Kids have been warned not to dilly dally from the bus stop so they know summat big is going down today :rotfl::rotfl:
Sooooooo excited :j:j:j:j:j

No-one batted an eyelid. Other than school uniform she has solely wore fancy dress from the age of six. I never minded as she was always so well behaved and it always made people smile.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:That is fantastic! I love it :T0 -
He has been told that he can't use his brother as Zombie bait.
:rotfl: Mine is into food and football and Formula 1. He wanted the formula 1 sky channel for his birthday but we don't have sky so it wasn't possible. Then he asked for an iphone to which my reaction was :rotfl:
I found some luminous green and orange boxers, some football story books that he likes and some swimming shorts to go with his other bits.I had hoped that our eldest cat would have taught them when they were younger, having been feral she was exceptional at mousing, but obviously she decided not to share.
DOn't cats have to be hungry in order to be interested in catching mice?
I have done b*gger all today except shop for DS birthday and go out to lunch. At some point I will have to buy food but i really can't be bothered. OH has finally remembered that mother's day applies to me as well, so he is off shopping with DD in a bit. I might get him to pick up the bits for tea and then I'll do the rest tomorrow. The kids got a seasonal pass to our local theme park for christmas and it opens tomorrow so they are out for the day. I think OH and i could go somewhere nice.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Mardatha my oldest dd got a letter a couple of weeks ago and thought she would loose it all as the letter said the limit was £26000. She had a nose round this site and found the article about those letters so she rang tax credits.
She is not going to loose them and because she is no longer working it will go up some this year and more next year as there will be no maternity pay then.
The person she spoke to did not seem bothered about what the letter said so she went on a little rant. She did say she did not blame him but that letter nearly made her just let the payments stop and not question it. It was only coming on here that she found out it was wrong.0 -
Will pass this onto my daughter thanks pet0

Afternoon Gang. Seriously exhausted after the last couple of days! I've gone to lie down before tackling dinner, and collecting the young master from the bus. Took OH for his biopsy this AM...nowhere in the hospital to park, so he sent DD and I shopping, and we went back for him when he was finished. He's OK but has a ton of antibiotics to take, and has to avoid milk with them, more food challenges.
DD collected her meds from the chemist here on the way home, she had to get something ordered in specially as all the pills have lactose in! She's feeling a bit better I think, now the GP has taken her seriously, for some reason she seemed to think they would tell her to pull herself together. Hopefully what she's taking now will do the trick and the GP said she would refer her to the mental health team...although she said that may take some time....
I was quite naughty in TK maxx, bought a couple of glass things I'd had my eye on that had been further reduced, and chose my own mother's day pressie...a large ceramic owl for the garden. We also did well in Wilkinsons, I picked up a single duvet marked at 75% off original price (£20) which I said to DD I'd get as I'd been looking out for a spare for visitors... when we went through the checkout it rang up at £2!!! Mr.T had some Xmas haribo sweeties in the marked down section, and DD slung them in the trolley to see how much they were...they rang up at 1p a packet!!! So she went back for ten more!!!LOL!
We're defrosting some sausages for dinner, and I'll make some potato wedges to go with them, was struggling a bit to think of something everyone will/can eat. So - keep it simple - order of the day. I've also been told that my other DD and her BF are coming Mothers day, but God only knows what we'll eat then, she and her BF are following basically a vegan diet, but eating fish, it's a health kick not a moral code. Seriously hoping that they are sorting it out between them all, as I'm working Sunday, and really don't fancy faffing about!

Kate - Glad Dr took DD seriously, lets hope the meds work, but being home must be best medicine! Did you see my post earlier re Angel Cakes book - just in case you missed it as you have been busy.
Hope Goggie collection goes well PIC, very envious!
Lazy tea tonight - HM veg curry from freezer with rice and naans. Just made some onion bhajias to go with it, in my quest to make the perfect indian snack :rotfl:.
Looking forward to a nice roast chook tomorrow - our first 'proper' dinner for about a month!Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0 -

Waiting impatiently for PICs doggy pics..
Consultant didn't find my voice, but did find the problem (stuck a periscope down my nose into my larynx _pale_). So lots more rest so I can do the work I can do (presenting, face to face meetings). No phone work as you tend to pitch your voice higher on the phone which puts stress on it. Lots of water, no coughing, lots of throat pastilles and go back in 6 weeks. So I need to find a voice coach asap for some help and support...0 -
Be careful - I came away with four more cookery books :rotfl:Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0
