Hi everyone I've been reading this thread and am amazed at all the helpful hints and tips. We are doing ok at the moment trying to clear debt slowly but surely before we sink any farther. Everything seems more expensive every week I go shopping Gas and electricity have gone up, food has gone up only upside is DH is now working closer to home so unstead of a 50 mile round trip it's now only 10. This year DD has 5th year prom at school and apart from the initial cost theres limos, dresses, hair and makeup and god knows what else(I will not panic I will not panic....) For years we've struggled by have no savings and live from month to month. Times are tough but I really want to start to take control and reading your posts have really helped thanksDebt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

Have been so busy this morning - and that's before I go to work! Dishwashers to empty, laundry to juggle, tea to sort (well dig through the freezer for), kids lunches and breakfasts. I know I'm not the only one, but it seems so .. ooh whats the word? ... relentless.
I guess it's just called life
I am planning on breaking out the Takeaway secret book tomorrow - what would people recommend for a first timer?I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
GQ - we're beginning to have suspicions that dilbert I'd written by someone in my team...
I'm trying to maximise my access to daylight at the moment by working in the afternoons and evenings, and fitting the domestic drudgery into the mornings. However, I overslept this morning, so have managed to emptybthe DW, put the dry washing away and eaten breakfast. I need to get the utility room and bathroom spotless this morning as that will help with everywhere else.0 -

Morning Chaps!
D&DD - I agree the breakfast muffins are delicious! I made a load of the patties and froze them, so we can have them for a quick lunch whenever we fancy (always have muffins in the freezer too). Just like the real thing, but much cheaper and no spotty oiks serving!
The doner kebab is very nice too, as is the curry base. I need to try something else, might have a look throught the book later for a bit of inspiration. I have a hankering for something chinesey, we have not had one since leaving London and I am starting to miss it...
I have taken pics of the possessed mat - as of last night when I put it back down and this am when the stain is starting to show - not sure it is clear on the pic though - will take another one later. Mad, moi???:rotfl:

Hi everyone. Still feeling a little worse for wear. Think I have to accept that I have some sort of lurgy and give into it.
I had a letter about my pension date this morning. I knew what it was going to be but seeing it in black and white, well...I have a further 5 years to go rather than the 18 months it should have been. Worse, I miss out by just 2 months. I should have been a spring baby not a summer one.0 -
GQ I get the Dilbert strip every day in g@@gle reader, I swear I used to work in that office!
