Strange I thought this was dead and gone after I'd applied for it.
Today I get 2 e-mails saying my credit has been granted, I have an account, and the laptop is in the order status with an expected delivery of end of Feb. Admittedly this is on the A100 @ £149, but I thought they were all going boobs up.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
Shopandscan, £2,840
Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700

I have wanted a laptop for a while so when I saw this offer I ordered 4 in total (for more chance of receiving 1 of them) all paid for by debit card
£149 one from littlewoods with 10% code - £134.10 total
£249 one from littlewoods with 10% code - £224.10 total
£219 one from LX direct + £3.50 p&p - £222.50 total
£129 one from LX direct + £3.50 p&p - £132.50 total
I received confirmation emails for all 4 on Tuesday 30th Jan
On 1st February these 4 amounts were taken from my bank account - £132.50, £134.10, £222.50, £224.10
On 2nd February I received 1 email from LX Direct and 2 emails from Littlewoods telling me that price was incorrect and that my order was declined. I also received an email from Littlewoods offering me 25% discount off the correct price. As yet there has been no email telling me that my order for one of the laptops from LX Direct has been declined.
On 5th February Littlewoods Warehouse refunded £224.10
On 6th February Littlewoods Extra refunded £129 & £3.50 postage and Littlewoods Warehouse refunded £134.10
LX Direct as yet have not cancelled my order or refunded my £222.500 -

  ...you're gonna need a laptop to keep on top of tracking that lot.0 -
When I look at the Littlewoods online order tracking procedure it is different to the e-mail.
The E-mail says,
" Qty Item Terms Delivery Address Expected Delivery Price
1 "A100" laptop with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 PR4277* 52 WK Estimated delivery by Tue 27th February £ 149.00
Sub Total £ 149.00
Cashback £ 0.00
Delivery £ 0.00
Total Including Delivery £ 149.00
*These products require a signature on delivery
But the website worryingly just has me ordering PR4277, which is the bloody software priced at, you guessed it, £149.
If they think they can charge me for software without the laptop they can get stuffed.
NB I added codes and neither came off, the price stuck @ £149.00
Lets see what arrives, I'm glad I'm on 52 week terms, I have 1 year to argue my case!!I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

my £132.50 order from LX Direct is showing as cancelled after being charged and refunded
my £222.50 order from LX Direct is showing as cancelled but I have not received an email telling me that it has been cancelled and I have not yet had my money back!
I am worried and annoyed as they took the money from me a week ago!0 -
You wrote:I don't really understand why it bothers you enough to post then? Those continuing the discussion aren't bothering you, so why get involved just to criticise? You obviously think there is nothing in it so why not scroll on by and post on threads that do interest you? I and some others obviously do want to continue discussing it. Why make it harder for us by clogging the board up?
Personally I'm happier reading both sides of a debate. It gives one a more balanced viewpointCan I help?0 -
I am still waiting for a refund although they have cancelled my order.Always on the hunt for a bargain0

I received a similar email to everyone else, but with a paragraph at the bottom:-
Further to your recent order request for a Toshiba A100 Laptop (catalogue number PR427), please be advised that there was a price error on our website and the price shown was incorrect. We are therefore declining your order request in accordance with clauses 2.2 and 3.2 of our terms and conditions, which can be viewed on the website help pages. The laptop price has now been amended if you wish to order at the correct price.
However, if you wish you can re-submit the order without the promotion if the goods are still required, simply Click Here
Does this mean that LX direct are confirming it was indeed a promotion, not a misprice? Acknowledging misleading advertising with no intention to honour any orders?0
